I like this product overall
I have back and leg problems and wanted something to help me sit down and push myself up from the toilet. I like this product overall. It is heavy and appears to be sturdily made. No problems getting it to fit my toilet. My only reservation about it is that it is too narrow. I am 5'11" tall and weigh about 235 pounds. I do not have enough room to clean up easily after use. The toilet surround should be 2-3 inches wider, as far as I am concerned. Also, it is on the expensive side.

Very useful product.
This was a great help for my father. No installation, just unfold and place around toilet. Now that we don't need it for the time being, I'd love to put it away. However, three of us could not figure out why it won't fold up again. I'm not the most mechanically minded soul, but I have tried and tried. This is why it got 3 stars. If anyone who has this product can enlighten me how to fold up, plz help!

Invaluable and highly recommended! Portable!
Unfortunately, I purchased this unit only after my 96 year old mother fell while rising from the toilet. Luckily, she is fine. I believe this unit would have prevented the fall. It is unique in its design with the attached footrest which provides added stability to an already sturdy product. We use it successfully for an American Standard round toilet. There is about 3 inches between the edge of the footrest and the base of the toilet. This extra room allows it to also perfectly fit our elongated style Kohler Cimarron toilet exactly as shown in the site picture with the footrest against the base of the toilet. There is a slight problem with fitting our Kohler Santa Rosa one piece elongated toilet. The length of the toilet base does not allow the back of the unit to go all the way back to the toilet tank. We have a soft close lid that still stays up but other lids may not. This can be remedied by leaving the seat lid up. The bar at the back of the unit will be in front of the lid but does not seem to present any comfort problems. In this case the lid would have to be left up if you don’t want to keep moving the Foldeasy. Another more ambitious fix would be to trim about one inch from the part of the footrest that contacts the toilet base. The manufacturer would probably frown on this method but I personally don’t think it would detract from the performance of the unit since the footrest is almost 7 inches wide at the center. Use your own discretion. You’ll need about 20 inches from the front of your tank to the front of the toilet base for a perfect fit. Using these simple methods, I would expect this to fit most any toilet. The unit is simple to fold and unfold which is the only “assembly required”. My mother is about 5ft 3in. and could not use a safety seat with arms since it raised the seat height too much. She uses the Foldeasy in its lowest position. The slant of the arms from about 25” at the front of the arm to about 28” at its hi point also makes it easy to find a comfortable grip. It can be adjusted in 1” increments to about 9 inches higher which seems like overkill but it’s available. I’m 5’ 10” and it was way too high for comfort when all the way up. Overall I believe the Foldeasy is a superior product to others which are freestanding and those that need to be bolted to the toilet for stability. Shipped quickly and is as described. The negative reviews do not seem to fault the product but rather the inability to return it. I do not see it specified on the Amazon site but the seller’s site (Wayfair) shows that it is nonreturnable. Wayfair states that the item is of a personal nature, although some similar surrounds they sell are not so marked. I can understand having the policy for seat type products but this seems less “personal” than those. Go figure.

Wayfair does not honor their own return policy
I purchased this toilet support for a disabled family member, but they decided they did not want it, and so I requested a return through Amazon. Simple, right? Not quite.....Two days later I received a message from Wayfair (the seller) stating that:"I'm sorry that the support aid isn't working out for you, but I am unable to process a return for the item that you have requested. This quality item is custom made for your order and so we cannot accept returns once this order is shipped. I am very sorry about this."What's custom about this product?!?!? It comes in only one size and color. Furthermore, this refusal by Wayfair seems to fly in the face of their stated policy on returns, which states:"ALL Wayfair items sold on the Amazon Marketplace are returnable within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the full price of the item minus our shipping costs. If the purchase was sent with "free shipping" the original shipping costs will also be deducted from the refund. There are a few exceptions to this policy:Luggage and Bags are returnable within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We do not accept returns of assembled or modified items.Mattresses are exchangeable once within 100 days of delivery and a $99 exchange fee will apply.Flooring is only returnable in quantities of 4 cartons or more."I don't think this toilet support qualifies as luggage, an assembled item (I have not even opened the box), a mattress or flooring.I'm filing a complaint against this seller via Amazon, but you should beware about ordering this product (or any other product for that matter) from Wayfair. It might be in your best interest to find a more reputable and honest-dealing seller to deal with. I know I will going forward.
