So informative and interesting. Read in one sitting. Important information to have.
I like the other 4 books by the same author even better, but this one is also excellent.

You know it's true when it's happened to you!
This is an amazing book. It's hard to find words to express how much I've enjoyed reading it, when so many of the experiences I have had as well. This book has shed a lot of light on things that have puzzled me since childhood. Some of it scares me while other parts confirm what is literally heaven sent.

Sky People are here
Sky People is a collection of interviews with the indigenous people of Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico about encounters with UFOs, and quite often the people who operate them. The interviews were collected over a period of seven years as the author retraced the path of explorers John L. Stephens and Frederick Catherwood who documented the existence of ancient cities in the jungles of Mesoamerica. Many of the stories collected had only been told once or a few times to close family and friends. Family and the local community were often not open to hearing about these strange events, so the stories remained untold. Being indigenous herself helped to open doors, but Dr. Clarke also always treated the people she interviewed with the utmost kindness and respect, and she observed all the appropriate social graces. People just seemed to like her a lot! It is unlikely that anyone else could have collected these stories, and they are incredible stories. The stories cover a wide range of experiences, from those who willingly and happily travel with the star people in order to learn, and sometimes to teach, to those who feel used or abused. It seems that fear of the visitors is a common reaction. There are a surprising number of UFO abduction stories, with missing memories and missing time, and while almost all are returned unharmed, there is one boy who went missing, and some where a woman became pregnant, but only for a few months. Unlike cases where hypnosis was used in attempt to recover memories (a process which may not be reliable), no hypnosis is used, and the witnesses are highly believable. The scene setting and background information on Dr. Clarke’s travels and encounters, and on the historical journeys of Stephens and Catherwood, provided cultural and emotional context for the stories and was also quite interesting in itself. It’s an easy, fun read. Anyone with a serious interest in the extraterrestrial presence on Earth will want to get this book and read it!

Another facinating book from Ardy Sixkiller Clarke
Ardy Sixkiller Clarke has written another utterly facinating book about the indigenous people of the Americas and their encounters with UFO's and the "star people". This time she has gleaned stories from southern Mexico, the Yucatan, and Guatemala where the Mayan people have told her of their long standing ties to the visitors from the stars. In doing so, she has graced us with a unique window on the Mayan culture and outlook. She gained the trust rarely granted outsiders to gather remarkable stories that have never been told outside the towns and villages of Central America. The Mayan people take their encounters in stride as something quite normal. They believe they share a kinship with certain "star people" and that they actually originated from another planet. Dr. Clarke takes them at their word and has come to believe it is true. If only more scientists and academics were as open minded as she is and considered the experiential side of human knowledge and understanding. Empirical science can teach us much but it cannot teach us everything. Dr. Clarke understands this to our great benefit.

Hard to put down!
Wish more stories would be collected like this author has! I felt like I was there with her listening to these awesome stories.

A continuation of a previous volume that illuminates contacts that are continual but not on the mainstream radar or any radar for that matter. A well written book that deals with contacts of the present day and also relate to prehistory through tribal lore of stories and rituals. The secrecy of the stories would never have been revealed without the "one on one" retelling (and translations) of the many contacts and observations she found. While few answers are found in the retelling, the stories are very revealing of the socio-religious nature that impacts and "colors" many of the observations by the indigenous people. An intriguing volume that deals with he people she meets in an "indigenous meets indigenous" basis and through this is able to see through their eyes and interpret outside their occasional clouded interpretations.

I wasn't sure how I would like this book but I decided to give it a shot. I am happy to say that the book is quite interesting and I find it hard to put down. It's written in such a way that you can jump from story to story if you'd like. Make sure you read the Authors Note before beginning this book. It provides valuable information about the method used to put the book together and some background information on the subject matter. Many times I skip the Authors Note section of the book but this time I'm really glad I didn't or I wouldn't be enjoying this book as much.

Ancestral visitors
Alien visitors turn up everywhere, including on Indian Reservations in North America. This book is a collection of anecdotes from Red Indians and Alaska Natives who have met "sombody" from Outer Space. Most often, the aliens and the families have known each other for a long time and the Indians don't seem to be so worried as Europeans about the aliens possible evil intentions - if any, in fact, many Indians consider the aliens to be relatives from elsewhere and call them "the Ancestors".A great read for anybody interested in Flying .Saucers from a different angle.

Lacks readability.
Book full of short stories which lacks depth. Author starts of quite boringly by giving you a lesson on English regarding verbs adjectives and nouns. I lost the will to carry on after the prologue.I have read many many books on this subject but lost interest rapidly. Not for me unfortunately.

Get your cup of coffee because your going on a fascinating UFO ride!
If you have read Ardy's other books on the same subject, you will equally love the stories in this book as well. The author's unique style of storytelling, literally makes the reader feel as though you are riding along with Ardy, meeting and sharing a coffee with the people she interviews. The stories are fascinating and honest. The author leaves the reader wanting more stories. You will come away from her books feeling like you could tell her all your secrets, especially about UFO's you have encountered.
