Love it.

Super cute book! It has great translation and love the little “Spanglish” thrown in for modern authenticity. My mom and son enjoy reading it together.Very colorful pictures, a bit busy... but my 2 year old loves picking out things going on in each page.

This book shows up in best spanish books lists for kids, but in reality it's not that good. Sure, the illustrations are beautiful but the writing? Bizarre. The narration mixes tenses, doesn't follow a logical line and it's really bothersome that it mixes spanglish when the book would be best if it was all in spanish. My daughter can never stay focused when I read it because it's a little boring. It's almost like it was written by someone who just learned spanish by listening but never had formal training.

Love that this story is in Spanish and focused on imagination and relationship with a grandmother. Beautifully written and the illistrations are great
