It was an easy decision to purchase these because I wanted them after ...
I have followed the development of the Moverio BT-300 for a long time. It was an easy decision to purchase these because I wanted them after reading the early reviews the few people published. The first time using the BT-300 FPV flying the DJI Mavic Pro I was simply amazed and how these preformed comparing to my other devices. The BT-300 become my choice for use with my Mavic Pro because they are simply amazing and provide what users want, clear picture, ability to view your radio and surroundings with removing the googles. There is only one choice and no room for a second after using the BT-300 for flight as a monitor for viewing what the Maivc Pro’s camera is viewing in real time. The BT-300 can be used with glasses, is supplied with an addition extended nose bridge if needed for using glasses. The included sun shades do a great job at blocking out the bright sun, 2 versions, one for not so sunny days, the other for them bright and sunny days. The additional Sun Shade manufactured by Rochester Optical is my choice for all uses, this limited-time offer performs great and adds a better look then the standard shades. All the shades can be removed with ease and swapped out fast if needed. The controller navigation and use is easy to learn and performs well when navigating around the menus. It was easy to bind a Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse combo to the controller making typing much easier. The Moverio App Market has additional Apps and the needed DJI Go App and DJI Go 4 App for use with the DJI Products. Apps from the Play Store can be used, I have installed Google Maps and this is a great addition to the App library on the BT-300.I have uploaded movies in 2D and 3D and the experience watching them was very good. The onboard camera can record your viewing experience leaving both hands free. Some Feature I like:LightGreat Viewing ExperienceUsing cameras to recordExcellent lightweight viewing for travel.4-6 hour battery life

Potential Depending on Need
Still after reading the few reviews I thought I would try it. It has potential if you can get pass the initial setup.Didn’t realize it’s made by Epson, so quality was better than expected.I agree with other reviewers that the touch pad is to sensitive. It’s a pain to enter any information. I use a password generator so passwords are long and random, but I had to change my password to something simple just to login. After about 2 hours I finally got logged in.I’m a big guy and the frame isn’t adjustable, so it got uncomfortable to wear after a while. But this probably may not be a problem, depending on the amount of flying you do. The projection is clear and bright. I still had to wear my glasses and I didn’t have any problems with them on. Apps are limited for what I want it for, flying my drone. The holder that attaches to the controller is cheap an I could see it breaking after a while. I’m going to try hanging it around my neck using a longer cord.It will take a few flights to get use to flying with this, but it was fun. I flew on a cloudy day so I can’t say how it works in bright sunlight.

OUTSTANDING! Very nice piece of technology optimized for DJI drones.
Very nice piece of technology and optimized for DJI drones; apps are pre-installed. Essentially, its an android device in smart-glasses form factor. The glasses project the image...appears as if it were a large screen monitor. Allows you to keep VLOS on your drone and monitor flight data/video simultaneously; no need to look down at your tablet/phone; no need for a tablet/smart phone sunshade. Unlike VR goggles, you don't need a spotter to stay within FAA rules. For uncorrected vision, I suggest the upgraded Rochester nose piece for comfort and better positioning. The Rochester sunshade insert is also a good option also but try the standard sun glass inserts before you pony up $57. For those of us that need correction, my optometrist was able to cut lenses for the included prescription inserts. I was able to use my insurance plus my deductible to pay for it. UPDATE: The included inserts work well BUT...they do not fit the unit the best. The shape is a little weird (not the same as the lenses in the BT-300) ...as you can see them protrude above the BT-300. I decided to get the Rochester eyeglass insert and WOW....so much better in terms of fit, looks, and comfort. VERY high quality...and extremely fast production/shipping...like 3 business days. Everything is crystal clear now. Beats the heck out of using a tablet or phone.

As AR systems go we rate this a zero out of 10.
We purchased the glasses to use in a development project. And are imensly dissapointed by the overal design, form, function, user access, and interaction. So lets define stupid, its the act of repetition when no peramiter has changed and expecting a diffrent result. The opposit of a smart system in other words.1. The need to input a code to access the download section is just stupid, why? The non existant keypad is so finnicky it just does not allow you to consistantly enter a password added to that is the inability of the unit to lock on and hold a wifi signal and you have a stupid system.2. The square shape of the glasses and thier thickness while required for the prism also distract you from and remove the ability to have situational awarness. Coupled with its inability to accuratly mouse track. The pad itself is terrible3. The square frame design is so frustrating to work with, it does not fit into any helmet made for extreme sports and if you force fit it the discomfort level is of the scales.4. The glasses mount sucks. If you try to use it you lose a percentage of the screan view. As the prisms are pushed forward.5. In sunlight the info is unreadable, you need the shades and to cover top bottom and sides with duct tape we tried and it is better. But be aware that you lose periferal fision and situational awarness.

Not made for drones...IMO
I had high hopes for the Movario BT-300 FPV glasses after watching numerous YT reviews, reading reviews online, which were mostly positive. When the package arrived and the box had obviously been opened (the tape sealing the box was covered in dirt and no longer sticks), I had concerns. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. My views are as follows: numerous folks online indicated you can wear prescription glasses with the replacement nose bridge. I found it extremely uncomfortable and difficult. The glasses also sat very heavy on my nose. I could not find an ideal viewing position that worked. The touchpad is tedious at best, very challenging to navigate. DJI GO 4 is an earlier version on Android on the OS. I could not connect my M2Z to the glasses despite numerous attempts. The projection image is “neat” (for a few minutes) but I could not see the screen clearly outside without attaching the shades provided. The edges of the screen were blurry, and I had to adjust the glasses to see information on the edges. The glasses fit extremely tight against my head and I do not have a big head by any means. Unfortunately, the tech is fascinating, but did not suit my FPV drone flying needs due to all of the above so I returned these very pricey glasses.

Great DJI FPV gl;asses
Greatest drone FPV glasses, works great with DJI. I just hope I can figure out more uses for them because they're pricy and the Epson Apps store is somewhat limited.

Makes flying a drone with FPV easy
Such a good concept well engineered lightweight multi functional, the only downside is negotiating menus with the trackpad, more than just abit fiddly.

Excellent piece of equipment!
Purchased these a few days ago. Had a problem trying to set it up with my Spark. But soon had it up a running. If you are in a position where you have to fly your drone and keep it in line of site, then this one is for you! You have a great view through the lenses looking at your drone and then with a slight eye move you can see crystal clear of what your drone sees. When your not using it with your drone you can use it like a tablet. View movies, YouTube and search anything you want. It also comes earplugs to listen. A little on the pricey side, but more than just goggles...
