Sizing for beagles seems tricky to get right
This was a replacement product for another buoyancy aid I bought from Amazon which was HUGE on my male beagle, despite having measured his chest and matched him to the guide. This one said it would fit up to 68cm with a medium. As he is 69cm I decided to go for a medium after my LARGE experience with another manufacturer. It is well made and snug fitting for him, sits nicely along his back and the straps around the chest and neck are plenty long enough. Downside was that, although the grey side wings that go against his fur and are supposed to fasten with Velcro went around him, the Velcro tapes were positioned to far up the wings to actually reach. I dusted off my sewing machine, unpicked the tapes and moved them closer to the edge, as per the pictures. Result is that it is now tailor-made for him👌 so while it took a bit of effort, the price and quality of this product make it worth doing. Hope this helps avoid some sizing frustration if you also have a small but barrel-chested dog!🐕🤭

Untested but great wee life jacket for man's best friend
Bought for a kayaking trip with friends as the organisers didn't have dog jackets.Perfect fit for our slender, hairy hound who didn't seem to mind at all!
