I searched for a good pair of headphones to listen to mp3 files while I sleep. None of the reviews on the majority of headphones were great so I decided to try this pair. They are ok but the ear pieces don't stay in one place and it's hard to get them in the right place to hear full sound. I don't like the fact that to have them over your ears correctly , the front part ends up over your eyes. I figure it is supposed to be a sleep mask too but sometimes I want to look at the screen of my ipad so I have to kind of flip and fold under the rim of the band so I can see. It really is annoying. I wish it was sewn so the ear pads could be over your ears without the band comng up over your eyes. The sound quality is ok. It's ok for what I need but the design could be better. I almost thought the sound was broken, but I realized that the ear pieces were facing outside away from my ears. After I flipped them to facing my head I realized the band was inside out.Make sure the ear pads are facing your head so you don't think they are broken like I do.

Overall I really like these, I love wearing them while I lay in bed and they don’t bother my ears like over or on ear headphone do. The little headphone in the band do move around but they’re easy to slide around and adjust. My only “complaint is that the band is pretty big, they’d be great for an adult male but I originally bought them for my 7 and 4 year old for a plane ride, since reviews on the kid version complained that the volume wasn’t loud enough in places with a lot of background noise. These were wayyyy too big for my 4 year old - and he has a gigantic head, and on me (33f) they are still really roomy and if I walk around with them on they start to fall off. I wish they were a little smaller but oh well, I still like them.

I was so excited to receive these headphones- I was looking for relief from sore ears while watching streaming while lying on my side- Yay! it worked for that! Very comfortable flat disc speakers that feel like marshmallows compared to lying on side with earbuds.Unfortunately, my headband is huge and moves very easily. It is hard to position the speakers over my ears and they don't stay there. I constantly have to adjust. Additionally, I find the lycra headband itself to be a bit hot- I could live easily with this if the speaker discs didn't move around. "a" for comfort. but other variables mentioned are the reason for the overall two star rating...

I bought these headphones to use in a side-lying position. They are very comfortable (unlike traditional earbud headphones). The volume is much lower than with earbuds, but then again, there's fabric between the speaker and your ear, and the speaker isn't inside your ear. While the volume could be louder, if it was, those around you would likely hear your music too.I have not had an issue with the speaker pieces moving around while I use these headphones (including while sleeping).

I wanted to use these headphones to listen to podcasts while I fall asleep during a vacation. I usually listed to a covered tv to fall asleep. The headphones slipped all around within the cover. As far as I know, my head is within the average size range, but the headband was too big and kept on slipping over my eyes. I wear an eyemask, but it was still annoying to have the headband slipping down. The headphone pieces aren't hard to adjust when you are awake, but they moved around as I slept further making it hard to hear the podcasts. I wouldn't recommend this design.

I hate ear buds in my ears as I fall asleep, but if I lay this on my pillow and fall asleep with my ear comfortably on it, I hear everything and I don't wake up tangled in the wires. Instead I fall asleep and eventually roll away, sort of an automatic off-switch lined up to my sleep.

This is my second purchase of this product. In less than 10 months, one of the sides has stopped working, ie there is no sound. I contacted the seller but have not heard back after 2 weeks. So I have to downgrade my rates to 1 from 4

Seriously defective cords on these. Outer wrapping kinks horribly. Just missed return window so 30 days they fail and kink in multiple places. Unacceptible design, im an industrial designer. Bring back simple smooth cord.

I found these headphones, really comfortable to lie on, and the sound quality is pretty good. I sleep on my side and found in-ear buds a killer, but now I can comfortably drift off listening to music or a podcast. The special cord does not get tangled as I lay it up over my pillow to the top of the mattress, so I can turn in either direction. In theory a Bluetooth headband would be better, but the Bluetooth receiver looked like it added bulk and was more expensive. Overall I am happy I chose not pay the additional cost.Everyone's head is different so the speaker pocket is generous to allow you to move it to suit your head. The speaker can therefore move a little off position in the headband, as you move on the pillow.I found a stitch or two quickly anchors its position to suit you. Very Happy.
