fit as expected with new(?) sizing
Let me start off with saying that I'm new to cycling, and this is the first and only padded tights I've ever tried so far.I've read most of the reviews about how small they run but decided to give it a try anyways with my true size. I actually took the risk because in most of the older comments the reviewers referred to the size as "small", "medium", "large", etc. without saying anything about the weight and height. I assumed that the seller changed the sizing label from S, M, L to weight/height. I'm 5'6" and around 130 lbs (pear-shaped) and I ordered the size: weight: 121-132 lbs, height: 5'5-5'7 ft. They fit perfectly! Yes, they are reasonably tight, but not so much that they'd feel uncomfortable. I can freely move my legs in them. The fabric does not feel cheap and the padding is comfortable. Since I'm just a newbie, I did not want to spend a fortune on cycling clothing and I'm glad I chose this one as it was very affordable. It made a HUGE difference when I started wearing these to save my sour butt for 2+ hour cycling.I'd recommend them to everyone.

Out ranks all the expensive brands with perfect padding!
I'm a long distance bike rider ( 50-150mi/ day) I have tried SEVERAL different/expensive brands of bike shorts to find the right padding on the inside to prevent chafing that appears to set in for me after the 80th mile. It seems many bike pads have too much padding with too stiff of an edge seam with the wrong type of stitching which contributes to the chafing. Just wore these last weekend for the 187.6 mile ride from Seattle to Vancouver Canada and these pants did me well! I LOVE the width of the pad and the fact that's not too thick . It has a very soft single stitch which is exactly what I've been looking for and it gave me absolutely no issues.I also like the thickness of the Lycra and the overall fit. I've always been more comfortable in "capri length" for biking does my knee swell up due to arthritis and I'm kind of self-conscious about them. The bottom of these have a nice soft band/hem so you can comfortably roll them up one or two times without them feeling too tight on a hot day. I'm so THANKFUL to have found this brand I will not by any other!!!!!

worth it for shorter rides
i have been biking for 25 yrs, and i always buy expensive biking pants, as they must meet my criteria for comfort and durability. this year i decided to try amazon's far less expensive options, and i am going to review based on my criteria. i followed the size chart and originally purchased a medium, although i always wear a small or extra small in terry, pearl, castelli. they were too big, no compression and the waist didn't stay up. i replaced them with a small and the size is better, overall. i like the length and i like the calf grips - they are soft, they stay put, no digging in, or riding up. the overall length of the capris is a bit long, but i like it. i can push them up if i want a shorter pant. the waist stays put, also no riding down, no need to pull them up, as i have had to do at times with other pants. the styling is pleasing, nothing see through, the stitching seems pretty well done. i have worn them twice, each ride being about 25 mi, the chamois could be a bit thicker in the front, but i didn't suffer at the end of the ride. i am unsure why the less expensive padded cycling pants are in general not providing good padding in the front, the back is fine, but riding a road bike puts most pressure on the front, and here is where the more expensive pants do much better. so i will use these for shorter rides. i also like a compressive fabric and these are not as compressive i as would like. overall, i am not too disappointed, and i will wear these, which is more than i can say for the other inexpensive ones i got.

Good overall but lacking front padding
These are pretty decent cycling shorts given the price (even cheaper now that they’re on sale), and overall, it’s loads better than the Docooler Gel 3D Padded Underwear Shorts I bought previously. The padding is plenty for the rear, as I experienced no discomfort in the bum while on the bike, nor soreness the day after. However, the front is another story. Pulling the pants on I immediately noticed how short the padding extends (or doesn’t extend) to the front. On the saddle there is fair discomfort in the front due to minimal front padding, and especially so if I’m in the drops. It’s both discomfort and pinching, and doesn’t make me want to ride in the drops at all. I’ve worn them a couple of times on the indoor cycle bike in my gym and typically do 45-minute intervals, so a fair amount of time is spent out of the saddle and isn’t too big of an issue while in the neutral position. I haven’t worn them on my road bike yet, but knowing my hard, unforgiving saddle, I can’t imagine they’d feel any different. Had the front padding not been an issue, I would have rated these pants as 5 stars, but that’s not the case.Sizing was spot-on using their new Americanized size chart (2017). I normally wear a size-6 pant size and bought the medium. They fit well—a tad loose around the bum area and slightly tight around the calf (I have bulkier calves than not).Material-wise, they’re nice and breathable and are ideal for warmer weather than cold. It’s also pretty stretchy, except around the calf band. However, because the calf band doesn’t stretch, I don’t have to worry about the material riding up, which works out well. I did notice an issue on the left pant leg’s exterior seam around the interior knee area, but unless it starts to pull apart/unravel, it’s not a big issue.Given the lack of front padding, I’d say these are medium-range shorts. I think anything longer than an hour and it’d get to be too uncomfortable for the lady parts. I still prefer my Pearl Izumis when it comes to ultimate comfort, but the 4ucycling pants are the perfect length, and I will grab for them more times than not, except when it comes to longer rides in the saddle.

Love it!
Is comfortable, fits me well, not a thick fabric, keeps me fresh while riding my bike for 25miles.

Good quality, fit is as expected
I use these while on my spin bike at home and they are great! Very breathable, and good padding overall. Don't expect the padding to be as good as brand name cycling shorts though. I purchased a Medium because I wasn't sure how tight they would be. In hindsight, I should have ordered a Small since that is what I usually wear for pants. However, they still fit me now and I am a couple months pregnant so it all worked out :)

Use the sizing chart for an accurate fit.
These are a very comfortable fit, lots of good padding and look great. The sizing chart was helpful, so I chose one size larger than usual and they fit well.
