Simply the best!
The most beautiful and useful children's book on Jewish Holidays I have ever seen! The book covers major Jewish Holidays. There are nine chapters: Rosh hashana, Yom Kippur, Succos, Chanukah, Purim, Pesach, Counting the Omer and Lag BaOmer, Shavuos and Tisha B'Av. Every chapter consists of 2 parts: the story about the holiday and laws of the holiday. The stories are wonderful, they really sound like exciting stories for preschoolers, not like a history book. Besides the story there are interesting facts from Midrash in the additional boxes (Did you know? and Closer look) which might be interesting for parents and older children. The pictures in the book are really wonderful and there are a lot of them. I love these beautiful pastel colors! And all the people in the pictures are dressed modestly, if this is an issue for you. You can actually see some sample pages on the Artscroll.com homepage.I would advice this book to every Jewish family with kids!

I think this is a great book to teach our children about the Feast
I think this is a great book to teach our children about the Feast. It gives the history and then it goes into how to celebrate the feast days. It shares some of the customs.

Great
Shmuel Blitz has done a great job: the book is beautifully written. It is interesting both for young children, who among other things love the colorful illustrations and their parents, who will enjoy the “closer look” sections of the book. I will definitely look out for more books by this author!
