I bought these 1 inch metal buckles to replace plastic buckles that broke on a kayak chair. The buckles fit perfectly and have lasted with no problems. It doesn't slide around and keeps the straps taunt.

I bought a backpack that I like very much, but it's straps keep coming loose. The clamps are not the best. I bought these and they were a perfect solution. I love the backpack, just not the straps. These kept me from having to buy yet another bag.

First, I only received 8 when I ordered 10. Also out of the eight, half are damaged. I'm not using these for looks so they will still work, however, would not buy if you wanted them for something that needs look good.

While these buckles are gorgeous, and add a lot of style to your piece (in my case a backpack), they are not the easiest to adjust once the project is completed. They are beautiful though, you just pay in the functionality.

These buckles are sturdy and hold securely. My application required something stronger than a plastic buckle. Since I needed 10, the quantity was perfect. I would order them again.
