One of the best books
I love this book. I bought it for my son. This book is written on a child's level that helps the child understand money and how money works. My son understood it and loved it. He learned things that he didn't know or understood before. There are a whole series of these books and I definitely intend on buying the rest of them. The author did a really great job making it interesting. This book kept my sons attention, so it wasn't hard getting him to read it. Thanks to the author for writing such an awesome book for children. I can't wait to buy the others.

They did a good job explaining the federal reserve in an entertaining way.
They did a good job explaining the federal reserve in an entertaining way. Let's face it, a lot of adults (not just kids) in our country still need this basic education about our financial system. I plan on getting more books from the series to read with my kids!

TFW Your Kid Gets Mad At the Federal Reserve
Boyack takes a fairly dry subject (the inflationary tactics of the Federal Reserve) and turns it into something accessible by children—even as young as my nearly 3-year-old. He may be a little precocious but he's so fascinated with these books. It helps in this case that there's a scary and enigmatic creature throughout the book (even if it's portrayed in the imagination of the kids). This makes it particularly appealing to the youngins though I should add that my son is equally interested in the less-monster-ridden "The Law".As I've written, there is a major dearth of quality children's books if you actually want to teach your kids some morals and not just non sequitur fluffy animal business. The kids will love it. AND you're going to love it when your kid gets mad about that "big mean monster" the Fed.

Strong Libertarian bias
I bought this book from Amazon to sample the set, and then bought the entire set from the publisher. The series has a strong libertarian (not conservative) bias. They teach free-market concepts, and only one of them—The Law— mentions God at all.The Creature from Jekyll Island is based on Edward G Griffin’s book of the same name. It teaches about fiat currency, inflation, and the federal reserve, among other concepts. Since our public schools are so busy teaching about grievances instead of actual skills snd concepts, this book and the entire series is important for filling in the gaps.

Great book to teach economic truth to your kids!
This was a great intro to get some discussion going about the government with our elementary age kids at a level they could understand and we could continue to build on. Super happy with it, not sure if you are reading to elementary ages and have any common sense about the origins of the federal reserve (or have read The Creature From Jekyll Island) how anyone wouldn't be happy with this purchase. There is even a link to a PDF worksheet version at the back of the book to further cement understanding of this topic...I'm super pleased for this beginners intro to wisdom for youth! SO glad someone started writing these for our kids level of understanding! Thank you!!

買って損した
まったくおもしろくないし、何の参考にもならなかった。送料がバカ高かった。ホント、買って損した。この本を紹介していた某オルタナティブメディアを恨むわ・・・。
