The individual bags price out at almost $1 a piece. While it was an acceptable item, I would have anticipated a little better paper quality.The twine handles are reinforced on the inside with a tape runner, however, the top of the bag can easily tear as a single paper layer, not folded over to strengthen this vulnerable area.

I purchased these 5 1/4" x 8 1/4" black pinstripe sacks for use as gift bags in my company. While the shadow striping, color and twist handles are satisfactory, the construction of the bag is inferior. Bottom corners do not meet, the folds and seams are not straight and the serrated top edge of almost every sack has small tears. Considering these visible construction flaws, $1.40 per bag is over-priced.

The bags were perfect for what I needed. The only issue I had was that I purchased 2 bundlesof the same product and received one bundle with black handles and one bundle with tan handles.That was annoying.

Just what I expected. For Christmas I filled them with an assortment of gourmet foods, wrapping each item in Amazon's white tissue paper, then I tied the handles together with red ribbon.The bags cost so much less than those in stores. They look great and are sturdy. I would definitely buy these again.

Love the color but have noticed a little shredding at the very top of bag...if handled gently they will make it through with no complaints

They are plain, but, I used my own personal stamp and jewels to dress it up for gift giving

We used these for welcome bags at our wedding. They were a good size and we could put labels on them that looked really good against the black. The faint pinstripes also looked good. They were pretty sturdy, held several drinks/snacks/other items. Would buy again.

A couple of the bags had a glued seam that had either came apart or didn't get glued. It was an easy fix but a little disappointing.
