TimexMen's TW5M26700 Command 47mm Gray Silicone Strap Watch

Though it is more bulky then classic Casio G-Shock (DW5600E-1V) watch what won me over was how much bigger the numbers are on the display. I use the watch for both EMS shifts as while as while climbing and whitewater guiding and the easy to read display is a huge benefit. I also love how loud the alarm is and that if you don't dismiss it there is a an option for it to go off again 5 minutes later. This is probably one of the loudest watch alarms I've had. The band is very comfortable though I'm interested to see how the longterm durability plays out compared to the g-shocks band is the Timex's feels softer and stretcher. The only thing I wish it had was a vibrating alarm as well as some of the other Timex watch have this.

A little over a year gone wearing this watch day and night. From working on moving trucks to completing basic military training and it is still ticking away (without a battery replacement). It’s been functionally reliable and barely shows signs of the tests I’ve put it through.I sing this watch’s praise in reply to those who suggest I buy a smart watch or to anyone in the market for a new watch. It tells has a nice, large display, is 200m water resistant, has a timer, alarm, and has good illumination. What more do you need, really? 5/5.

I am Korean and served in ROKMC.I used G-shock mudman almost 6 years that bought from PX.Compare with G-shock, I think Timex BST.47 is quite good watch.Bigger display easy to read,Soft silicon band - at the first time it's too softy but OK.Legendary indiglo.I wish Timex make more digital watches.

The watch looks great, and the silicone strap feels nice and soft to the touch. My problem was the way the strap dug into my wrist where both the buckle and strap loop touched. I wore it for less than a day because the discomfort was so prevalent.PRO: clear face with easy to read display. Soft touch silicone strap. Light weight.CON: unbearably uncomfortable at two point where buckle and strap loop touch the wrist

I love G-Shocks, have worn them for more than 35 years because they will work under any condition. But one thing I've never liked is being limited to the OEM strap. G-Shocks don't come with standard strap lugs. Well, this Timex does. You can wear it with the strap it comes with, which is very nice, but you can also use just about any strap 22mm and below. And as far as durability and accuracy, it's equal to any G. I wear mine on a two layer NATO nylon strap; try doing that with any G.

I bought this watch to add to a rotation of higher end dress and dive watches. I found myself wearing it frequently because of the large easy to read digital face and timer features. Unfortunately this watch simply isn't durable. As others have stated the rubber face began to peel off after a year or so. The battery that was "guaranteed" to last 5 years lasted less than three. If you're buying this as a short term "disposable" it will do the job. I'd recommend adding insurance or simply investing in a better time piece.

Love the watch, been an timex ironman fan forever, they made great "scuba" watches. They would operate at depth underwater keeping bottom time, and if they ever tanked, it was only 30-35 bucks for a new one. That being said-this model is big and very light, the numbers are no bigger than a standard size ironman's numbers. Only drawback is the band length, wish they made them longer. If it's too big you can always cut some off, if it's too short you can't add any length unless you change the whole band. Not taking any stars away though because band length is just the chance you take when you by any watch you can't try on.

I just got this watch. I sent a couple back from a different brand because I could not see numbers easy. This thing is perfect. Big numbers, excellent fit with silicone strap and works well. Has mineral watch glass as well. I bought an acrylic timex and love the watch but scratched it up. This one is the best I have found.

I love this watch 200m water resistance shock resistance. Swim daily with it love it.

Took it to Mexico for some touring and beach fun. Inexpensive compared to other watches of this type but definitely good bang for buck. There is a bit of a learning curve with the watch which I found that the internet is your friend since the instructions it comes with were quite poor-- especially with toggling between two time zones.If you plan on going underwater at the beach or in a pool, definitely get the normal black font on grey faced versions.
