Samsung BN59-01185A Remote Control

Received a different remote, functions differently, touch pad stopped working after 2 weeks. Function keys not the same. I REGRET BUYING THIS ITEM!

I purchased this to replace my original remote.It worked as expected for some time but eventually the remote pointer quit working or would work sporadically. In time the buttons stated to exhibit the same behavior.In playing abound with it, it became clear that something was draining the batteries. Installing fresh batteries would temporarily provide full functionality but only for a week or so. After around 6 battery replacements I finally gave up and used the traditional remote.

Works for my tv but they didn’t send the EXACT one shown in there picture. Now I know it’s a small complaint but I ordered this because the red, green, yellow, blue buttons (as shown in my picture) are different. One is supposed to be the 3D on/off button which I need for my tv. To much of a hassle to go trough the return process so I will use it just think they should have a more accurate image.

FYI this is a non-USA remote. The remote sold is the BN59-01182B and NOT the BN59-01182A. Definitely false advertising there. The A version is pictured but the B version is shipped. It has a soccer ball on it and the channel button is marked by a P. The remote sort of works like the original. The touch pad does not work and now 1.5 years later it eats batteries. I recharge and replace weekly. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this remote as the original is available, from Samsung, for cheaper. Learned this after the fact, so don’t make the same mistake I did. 2 stars because it does change the channel and volume.To program: Press and hold “Return” and “guide” for 3 seconds till it programs in the lower left corner.

I thought this remote would work with JS7200 , but it didnt al though the remote is working fine , i can turn on & off the tv but the other buttons are not working and shows function not available on the screen.

It works. However, there is a delay. If the remote is sitting for a few minutes while you are watching tv and you pick it up to use, it will have about a 4-5 second delay from the time you push the buttons to the time it registers on the tv.

I bought this as a replacement for the original remote that came with the TV and it works perfectly. I am very pleased with it.

Our 2 yr old thinks that throwing things is the funniest thing ever, so most of the remotes in our house get broken. Unfortunately, he also broke the remote to our 55" ultra hd samsung tv when it was only a few months old. Thankfully, there's amazon. It is the exact match and worked perfectly as soon as we synced it to the TV.

The remote works fine but is not exactly as advertised. I needed the remote for the 3D television as advertised but was sent something similar but without the 3D button. I have not been able to connect with the company or Amazon to be able to fix this problem. For the price of this item you could at least send the proper remote.

My original remote took a bath thanks to my 2 yo. This remote was the exact replacement for my Samsung Smart TV. Works great.

This product arrived quickly and so very happy with the product.
