Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 Electric Toothbrush - Outdated Product

Bought this as a present for my wife and she really likes it - she says it feels good in her hands and cleans her teeth very well.

My fav toothbrush. works well. top quality. holds charge and charges quickly.Love the design.

Luckily I got this toothbrush on offer but it is worth the money even not on offer!My teeth are gleaming! The handy travel case and brush head cover make it easy for travel. The charge seems to last forever. The only thing I dislike about it is the brush heads are expensive.

Cleans and polishes

Great for brushing and makes your teeth feel like they’ve been thoroughly cleaned. The different modes are easily interchangeable, and, unlike other brushes, this one doesn't have a super sensitive mode button (the one where the merest touch changes the settings).Other positives - it’s not noisy and has a comfortable vibration level. Easy to clean too.The big negative. I’ve had two of these. They both lasted just over a year then suddenly died. Back and forth with Amazon and Philipps to fix and neither could. Switching back to Oral B. If you’re willing to take the plunge then it takes an eternity to charge, it doesn’t hold its charge well and the brush heads are ridiculously expensive.

This is quite possibly one of the best purchases I've ever made. I've subsequently recommended this to friends and family who like me couldn't see past the price. I too was previously in the "£100+ for a toothbrush?" camp. But it's worth every penny.I based my opinions of electric toothbrushs on my old electric toothbrush that barely lasted 8mins which is roughly 2 days of brushing and it never really felt good. Been back on the manual brush for a few years. After a recent dental checkup, the dentist told me I'm causing gum damage by hard brushing and recommended a good electric toothbrush. I settled on this after researching best buys through Which.Both myself and the Mrs use it (with different coloured heads) battery lasts well over a week with 2 people doing 2 full 2 min cycles per day so well over 56mins charge. Our teeth have never felt so clean and smooth and despite eating at lunch they still feel squeeky clean later in the day. Plaque build up has disappeared and people have genuinely asked us both if we've whitened our teeth.Someone once said, Don't spend money on inanimate objects. Spend money on things that will improve tomorrow. This is a great investment. Treat your future self. Its worth every penny.

Great and powerful tooth brush. Can't fault the product

Worked very well until a couple of weeks ago (18m) when it started turning itself on spontaneously any old time. Previous one lasted 2yr before it failed to turn on at all! They are very good but not long-lasting and are too expensive to be disposable so quickly.
