Not an Anchor Hocking Montana jar, VERY POOR quality
This is not an Anchor Hocking Montana jar, the product description is NOT accurate. The lid is shaped differently, and it is a completely different metal, the knob is plastic painted or plated silver, not like the Anchor Hocking Montana jar knobs, which are made of a brushed metal the same as the lid. Really poor quality, not even close to the real deal. I would strongly recommend you STAY AWAY from this fake, so unethical.

NOT ANCHOR HOCKING!
This canister is a cheap, made in China imitation of the Anchor Hocking canisters that make that distinctive “ping” sound as you remove the airtight lid. The glass on this one is thinner, and the first one I ordered arrived badly packed and in hundreds of pieces. The lid is a single piece of very thin metal (the replacement that just arrived had a big dent in it), with a separate silicone ring around the top of the glass jar serving as a seal, NOT the multi-part lid of the Anchor Hocking originals.

FALSE ADVERTISING
This is not the Anchor Hocking Montana jar that is in the photos. It is a different style jar and lid which are cheaper quality. Very disappointing and deceiving.

Help with damaged item.
Item was totally smashed!!!. The glass was coming out of the package when I picked it up. Can't believe the delivery person didn't notice. How do I get a new one or a refund? I can't find any information on how to get this done! It was too dangerous to send back!Robert Rossi

This is not a "Montana" jar
I bought this jar to match a set of Anchor Hocking Montana jars that are in my kitchen. This is not an authentic Montana jar. This is a Montana-style jar, but the glass is thinner, the metal is cheaper, and the seal is not as robust. This jar could serve as a simple storage jar, but it should not be advertised as a Montana jar.

Cheap knock off. This is not the real product available in stores. The lid is flimsy tin and plastic handle.
