What were Good lightweight work jeans are no longer
Originally I scored this 4/5 (review below) Sadly in the great race to the bottom Dickies have moved production from Mexico to Kenya. These are no longer good quality. Poorly manufactured with terrible stitching. I bought two pairs of the same size that are totally different sizes, belt loops are not straight, evenly placed or of equal size on both pairs. Won’t buy again ever. Sorry Dickies you need to start doing a lot better!(Original review from 2020 purchase)Good fit and a nice lightweight work jeans. I wear them everyday at work, on the floor, up ladders and generally giving them a good knock around and two pairs have lasted me two years. Prior to the I had a couple of pairs of the heavy duty duck cotton version that were far too warm to be comfortable except in winter and those two pairs only lasted as long as these.Front pockets are a little tight but other than that a pretty good buy and practical wear for light duty working.

Diseño y color bien
El corte y el color están padres, el largo también , el único detalle es que en la parte de los muslos y la entre pierna está ajustado , de abajo de los muslos está perfecto

Office Casual, Not Rugged Use
I like these Dickies Men's Sanded Duck Carpenter Jeans and I'm happy to have them as an alternate to jeans for the office. They look good and wash well; not much shrinkage with tumble dry. But I don't know if they are up to rugged wear at the work-site. Maybe okay for a good hike or for camping. The material is a natural surface like classic Dickies denim. But it's thin, more like Dockers trousers, and the waist is lower than classic Dickies. Note too that the legs are wide by today's standards. All pockets are about the right size. Zipper good.I recommend, as long as the buyer understands they are not classic Dickies.

Durable but not so flexible.
If there was a stretch component I might appreciate it more. It might suit the slimmer man for the waist size so I'd order the next size up for some improved roominess when getting up and down from the floor.

Not what I expected
I’m an electrician, every 4 years I order 5 new dicky carpenter jeans 32x32. Allways happy with what I get. I’m pretty sure do to raw material being unavailable, what I got was not Jean material, it’s weaker material, and one size to tight , so order one size big if you must , I doubt these new pants will last 4 years

Dickies carpenter jeans are definitely a good value
The fit for these pants is pretty comfortable and I am satisfied with their look. The canvas fabric seems durable but not heavy which was what I was looking for. My only disappointment is that the side pliers pocket doesn't fit my cell phone however my phone is fairly comfortable in the front pocket. Otherwise the coin pocket and back pockets are the right size and position. This is my first pair and I expect I will come back to them in the future.
