They are wonderful in every way, but totally unusable due to the stench of gasoline. I would not put them near my skin (or an open flame for that matter). It makes me wonder what they use to tan leather in that factory.Take away the toxic fumes and these are really awesome. As they stand: garbage.

Nothing negative to say about the gauntlets.The strings are the cheap leather ones; would be nice if they were regular rawhide, or even a shoelace, but easily taken care of by purchasing separately....

I bought them for a costume. They look GREAT. Actually, they are better than I expected. There are only couple of little issues. First - they smell bad, but you just need to keep them outside for a day or two. Second - I'd like material to be thicker. I wouldn't recommend them for everyday wear. That's the reason for 4 , not 5 stars.

My husband loves them, and so do I! He looks very heroic and sexy in them. They fit great too! My husband is big and tall, and the previous ones he ordered did not fit!

My 18 year old daughter, barely fits these. She's quite thin. No way these will fit a man. man.

These turned out great. Used them for a costume and they seemed very high quality. Real leather and nice design.

These came in just in time for my Renn Faire costume! They work great with my costume and they are easy to put on. The only thing was that they didn't have any instruction on how to lace them but I eventually figured it out, it's not too hard just like a shoe. Everything is working out great and would definitely get some other leather gear from them in the future!

good thing but realy thin and i didn't get a leather strap like everyone else i get a cheap shoe lace in my box so kinda disapointing for the price but its okay i guess...i will have to buy leather strap on my own...
