Satin Ice Fondant for Cake Decorating, White (5 Pound)

Satin ice fondant really good, love it everything about it, taste better then any i try, elasticity is my favorite as never disappoints, i even mix sometimes with some home made marshmallow fondant to get more of it, in that case color will fade a bit so be careful and make sure satin ice is more then 1/2 in mixture.

I got this fondant for my brother's wedding. I won't be using it until this weekend, so the only things I can comment on right now are the taste and the color and texture. First off, right out of the bucket, this fondant was very stretchy and easy to work with, I pulled out a chunk just to see out it worked, before I ordered more. I found it very nice, and I'm just beginning to work with fondant. I was very concerned with the fact that it was being delivered on a 90 degree day, but it stayed gummy and workable and didn't melt or stick to anything. The color was gorgeous. I was a little worried about it leaving a blue or green color residue or not quite being black, but it's a great color and didn't bleed everywhere. Lastly, the taste, I tried it and I have to say this is some of the best tasting fondant. I liked it so much, that I ordered the white and I plan on making the flowers out of it, because I know people will love them. *UPDATE* Worked very well. I made many flowers and other decorations for the cake with this. Everyone thought it tasted great and looked wonderful. My only complaint is that it didn't dry as hard as other products I have used, so I had to be very careful when moving them around as they easily lost shape or fell apart. I'm not sure if this was because of the fondant or because of the heat, even though i made sure they were in a cool, dry place. My other issues is that no matter what I tried, it was very sticky and stuck to the mat that I was rolling it out on. Once I let it sit out for 15min or so, it got much easier to work with and I was able to actually roll and cut ribbons without them breaking or sticking. Overall, I would buy this again, just takes a little bit of getting used to.

This was my first time using fondant and I’m so happy with how it went. I don’t have anything to compare it to but I thought this product was really easy to work with and looks great. The package was well sealed and the fondant was not too hard when I started kneading it. It became really pliable after working with it. I used the entire two pound package on this cake for reference on how much you need. It also tastes really good!

This was my very first attempt at making a fondant cake. This fondant is easy to work with, does what it’s supposed to, and it tastes good. It wasn’t dry when I opened it and it kneaded and rolled out nicely.

These worked really well for molding seashells on a wedding cake! It rolled well and took color awesome! I can’t really speak to taste since I would not eat it.

I’ve used a few different fondants to get the years. But this one is the best tasting and I love the bright white color! I would highly recommend this brand over any other brand out there!!!!

I bought this product thinking I would be able to return what I did not use because it said it was eligible for return. Try to return the product and it’s telling me that it is not eligible for return product is hard to use not easy to work with and falls apart and cracks. Very unsatisfied with this product will not purchase it or recommend it to anybody.

Love Love this fondant , yes it’s pricey. But it’s coming a long way and I use it for special cakes. The taste is wounderful not overly sweet , texture is very nice even when adding colour. I have bought this twice before , it has so far not let me down . As with some other fondants who have changed their ingredients and when adding colour they seem greasy and split this so far is like the first time I used it hence why I pay the price.
