the product is just great. my husband really likes that he can wear it while walking.I'm not sure how this happened but I got two of them exactly alike. so I'm sendingone back this week.

Have been looking for a vest like this for quite some time. Updated (having worn it now over the last 3 months) - definitely warm, blocks wind, is comfortable, stylish, and seems durable/high quality. I still highly recommend this product. Everything else below is from the initial review has not changed.QualityLooks better in person than in the pictures. Rugged but stylish. Heavy duty brass zippers, leather lined pockets/collar. Sheds water well when put under a running faucet. The outer canvas material and flannel lining indicate 100% cotton, and the fill is polyester. My impression is it will block wind and be relatively warm.SizingI am 5' 11", about 180 lbs, wear a 40 jacket, and 32" waist pants. The medium just fit me and I normally would wear a medium sized vest. Its very form fitting and my feeling is if you wear a 42 jacket or 34" waist pants or just want more room for thick layers under it, a size large might work better.Storing (something to be aware of before buying)The instructions indicate when storing it needs to be put in a well ventilated area or possibly mold could form. My understanding is that the oil in the outer layer can discolor light colored clothing that contact it for some time. So putting this into a garment bag does not appear to be an option and if stored hung in a closet sandwiched between other items it might stain. That makes storing it during the warmer months when not in use more challenging.

My husband loves this! We live in the south so it’s good for chilly mornings, and he can continue to wear it throughout the day when it doesn’t get above 70°.

I love this vest. It is made to last and is perfect for someone who wants a great durable vest to wear for all around greater outdoor wear. It also makes a great work vest especially if one lives on a ranch or farm where one needs more rugged wear to standup to "Real" work.Not only durable, but provides good warmth, yet not overly hot. It will also show up well as a rugged fashion statment, if you're into that kind of show. I personally am more interested in it's function and especially durability.The only draw back I see as a potential issue is the lack of a stronger material in the pockets interior. I don't think it will stand up to putting many heavier objects like pliers or screw drivers or other work tools into and out of.I personally would have designed the pockets not only with a much stronger liner, but with zippers to close them off.But the pockets as designed are great to stuff your hands into to warm them up though.Another Great product from OUTBACK.

This is a great item for the winter and I like the way it fix. I got this item for less than $100. I looked at the same item today and it is $148. I a glad that I ordered all four types and colors before the price change.Great item!

Like so many others who have purchased this vest, this is now a daily part of my attire. It is so warm and comfortable that in cold weather I wear it all day long. At home I'm often going in and out letting the dogs out, bringing in firewood, getting the mail, running to the store for an errand, etc. and this is just great. I love the deep pockets. . .the zippers seem to be heavy duty enough to last. I love everything about this vest. I'll miss it when the weather warms, and I no longer need to wear it.So glad I purchased this.

Fit well vest is very well made n keeps me warm in 40” weather

I’m a vest guy. Have quite a few and by far, this brand is it. I can’t say a negative word about it. I have spent more on a vest and nowhere even close to the quality of these.
