Really good for cleaning paint and rust from steel. Leaves a nice satin brushed finish ready to paint. Lasts well too. Only slight issue is the riveted fixing of the shaft can come loose with hard use. But I have had 3 of these and think they are great.

I have a wooden deck approx 24 square metres. After our awful winter it looked very shabby, I tried jet washing it with no result to clean it, then I tried the market leading deck cleaner , nothing happened. Thinking cap on I decided to try one of these nylon discs on a 240 volt drill with hammer action turned on. Great result but hard and slow work but the deck looked like new. I had to get 2 more discs to complete and then a couple of coats of liberon clear deck oil. Job done. Good product.

Needed something like this to remove flakey paint and this is great for that. I have used wire wheels which are good but this is less aggressive.

Sanded my whole decking with this 10m2 got in all the grooves. Solid piece of kit. Did not burn out or break. Bearly worn down. Worth every penny.

If you want to get into those blasted decking grooves, this is just the thing. In fact, I haven't found anything more effective. I can easily see how it could have many wider uses too. A worthwhile purchase, for sure.

Cleans material well,without any shredding of nylon wheel.

I bought this to clean old varnish out if the grooves in my decking. It’s a perfect fit and is very robust. The hexagonal drive spindle stops it slipping when under pressure.

Good for cleaning stuff

Ich habe die Bürste gekauft, um unseren Gartenzaun mit der Akku-Bohrmaschine vom Grünspan zu befreien. Der Zaun war seit sechs Jahren nicht mehr gestrichen und entsprechend gezeichnet – ich hatte mich auf mühsame Arbeit eingestellt. Das Ergebnis hat mich überrascht: Ich musste praktisch nur einmal drübergehen, dann war das Holz sauber. Ein paar Stunden an einem Tag, und die kompletten 80 Meter waren fertig – streichfertig, ohne Nacharbeit. Das Holz selbst hat dabei nichts abbekommen, keine Riefen und keine Kratzer, wie man sie von Drahtbürsten kennt. Auch der Verschleiß hält sich in Grenzen. Nach 80 Metern Zaun hat sich kaum etwas abgenutzt. Und selbst wenn sie hinüber wäre: Bei dem Preis ist es absolut verschmerzbar, sich für diesen Zweck alle sechs Jahre eine neue zu kaufen. Zwei praktische Hinweise: Ein normaler Akkuschrauber reicht völlig aus, es braucht keine große Maschine. Und es entsteht ordentlich Staub – Schutzbrille sollte man auf jeden Fall tragen. Für die Holzbearbeitung kann ich die Nylon-Scheibenbürste zu 100 % empfehlen.
