I am having the same trouble. Actually mine didn't come with the yellow magnets(only 3) as I had bought it from Amazon outlet. I have 3 kids & using one color per child. I had gold star stickers that I bought at the dollar store awhile back. You know how the magnets come in those sheets you need to punch them out on? I kept the other sheets. I'm putting the star stickers in between those sheets & then I'm going to cut them out! If you don't have the sheets just go buy thin magnet tape or I'm sure you can buy magnet sheets. You may even be able to buy a punch out star to save time cutting.
