Mr. Coffee Ice Tea Glass Pitcher 2.5 QT, BVST-TP23

It arrived 3 days earlier than it was scheduled to ship, it is well packaged and as far as I can tell, an exact match for the Mr. Coffee ice tea maker pitcher I broke. Hopefully, I’ll not need to order another one soon, but I know where to come if I do.As a note any time you combine ice, near boiling water, and glass, you run the risk of breakage. Needed to replace my original pitcher that recently started to leak. This is exactly what I needed and was delivered in no time at all. So much cheaper than buying an entire new ice tea maker.

The Mr Coffee BVST-TP23 makes a great glass of iced tea but the pitcher is very very fragile. I have broken two already. Fortunately, they make them easy to replace using this kit. Now I am back in business.Considering how much money I save brewing my own tea, a replacement pitcher now and then is fine.

I broke my first one not paying attention and it broke. Like with any glass be careful with handling! I missed making my tea while I waited for it.

This is the second pitcher i’ve Had. The first one I had for about a year. It got a small hole in it and spilled all over the refrigerator. I ordered this one and it broke on the third use. I went back to the plastic one.

I purchased the tea maker, and this extra pitcher SPECIFICALLY because I wanted a glass pitcher. Great capacity, and the tea maker makes very good tea. However, both pitchers broken before we had the tea maker for six weeks because the they are very, very thin and breakable. They say that it is dishwasher safe, but there is NO WAY this pitcher could survive a dish-washing cycle. So, I have the best iced tea maker but cannot use it unless I switch a plastic pitcher, which we do not use plastic, so it is useless to me. I both got on chat AND a phone conversation with customer service and they essentially told me that when they come back in stock (they are out of stock right now), I am welcome to pay another $25+ for another pitcher or to to use for as long as they last, because they do not replace "accessories." So I am just out of $61.54, and out of an iced tea maker, and just out of luck. I cannot remember being this frustrated with a company's policy in a very long time. I would never operate my company this way. She also shamed me in no uncertain terms for using Amazon instead of purchasing directly from Mr. Coffee.

You really need to take care of these pitchers. They are very fragile particularly when they are full where hitting them on the edge of the counter will crack the base. They are good products though, if you take care of them. They clean up in the dishwasher. Frankly, I not sure they can make it any stronger since that would add weight and consequently making more difficult to not hit the counter when full. Just be careful.

My girls and I drink so much fresh brewed ice tea I needed a second pitcher and it is the perfect fit for my Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker.
