I got this to help research a presentation on the history of 20th century popular culture and needed an authoritative introduction to film theory. My enquiries suggested this would fit the bill and it didn't disappoint. I found it particularly good on the earliest reactions to the invention of film and how difficult it was to find a cultural vocabulary to critique it. A heavy duty, comprensive guide and a bit of a revelation to a non-theorised historian like me.

Product has pages which were torn and writing on the side from the University of Westminster. It has writing in the Book and it even have a code, from a library. I'm not sure why.
