Slowest PNY drives I own. POSSIBLY FAKE
I have been buying these PNY thumb drives for years, and I own over a dozen, with several in 128 and 256 GB capacities. I purchased this two-pack of 128 GB drives because it was a good price and I often have many loaned out any given time. Putting these two into circulation, I immediately noticed that they are horrendously slow. They look genuine, so I blamed the computer at first until I could do some benchmark tests. These drives are SLLLOOOOOWWWWW. They are slow to recognize when you insert them, they are slow to read, and they are slow to write. It's almost as if they're bad, they're so slow, but I'm pretty sure they're counterfeit at this point. I'm willing to crack them open to find out, but I'm going to petition the seller for a full refund first. If no refund, I will go ahead and butcher one of my good PNY drives, and one of these counterfeit PNY drives to show photographic proof, at which point I will have this seller removed and permanently banned from Amazon for selling a counterfeit product. How we proceed will be up to the seller.Edit:I contacted Amazon's fraud division and they have agreed to take the drives back. Hopefully they will follow up with a thorough examination, but that's up to them. I have included 4 photos. The first two photos show an authentic PNY drive I purchased 2 years ago, with the two PNY drives below that I purchased from this seller. Circled in green are qualities of an authentic drive, and red are indicators of a counterfeit drive. You will notice that the counterfeit drives say "USB 3.0" on them, while authentic PNY drives do not. The metal plug of the counterfeit drives are stamped with the code "JMK128S", while authentic PNY drives are not. Authentic PNY drives have a shiny reflective light gray finish, while these counterfeit drives are a dull mat gray. Authentic PNY drives have a slightly wine colored translucent cover, while the counterfeit drives are a dull gray translucent cover. The second two photos are the seller's own PNY stock photos, which verify the characteristics above.Hopefully this is useful information to others considering to purchase this item. Don't.

Not so good
I purchased this few months ago and used sparingally. However one of the drives all of the sudden slowed down to USB2 speeds no matter what I copy and/or from where. I checked their warranty and it says I have to pay for shipping. Well that is not worth sending in for replacement. I am not buying PNY flash drives again and I have 4! :(

Bought to store video, but returned an error on first attempt to copy files over
I am extremely disappointed with this item. First of all, I have another one of these that is all black, and it works fine. I am able to copy over the same files that did not work on the new device and have had it for years. As soon as I opened this item, it felt noticeably different from my old usb drive, but this could just be due to an updated design. When i opened the package, I configured the device to my pc and began copying the files onto the drive, but when I did so, I received the messages provided in the pictures. As shown on the back of the packaging, there should be no issue with movies or large files; its supposed to be able to store 128 GB, but I could not copy a 1.5 GB podcast episode to the brand new device.I can't give it zero stars, so I guess the one star is for portability?

Most likely fake.
I got these a round a year and a half ago, as a pair of 128G "usb 3" sticks. It turned out they are incredibly, unbearably slow, the slowest usb sticks I've ever owned. They do seem to have the 128G capacity, but the speed makes them almost useless. Most likely these were fake, but just tu be safe I'll never purchase anything PNY again.

Slow
Not as fast as a scandisk 3.0. Can only download one file at a time, because it freezes mouse and can't use it till download finishes.

Use to store programs on rather than on the C: drive
I used it to download (and play) xbox games that used up almost the whole 128GB. The C: drive was fulled up with the operating system and some software that as of yet is still robbing me of space. You need toggle the "download future software" to D: {name of jump-drive} if you are to make it work. So, I do not know how other people use these jump-drives, but this is how they have fulfilled my need.

PNY 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Elite Turbo Attache 3
Easy to use and work well on all of my computers. I purchased them a second time. Reasonably priced. I don't know how long they will last at this time as they are not rugged constructed
