Gentle exfoliating
I have dry, mostly clear skin that responds very poorly to physical exfoliation, but I had some texture issues I wanted to balance out as gently as possible. I was a little skeptical about chemical exfoliators since I had never tried one before and was worried about them being too harsh, so I ended up purchasing this one from PC because it is the lowest concentration AHA serum I could find (I'm sure there are others with lower concentrations, but I ruled out any that did not have the concentration listed on the label). I have been using it about twice a week for a little over a month now, and I have noticed a significant improvement in the texture of my skin! It has also made a lesser but still noticeable difference in evening out my skin tone. This product is a little drying for me on its own, but my skin feels healthy and soft when combined with a hydrating toner and good moisturizer.I would highly recommend this product to anyone with dry skin who's interested in introducing a chemical exfoliant to their routine. The concentration is so low that I don't know how much of a difference it would make with more oily skin.

Love the product, would not order via Amazon again
I’ve used this product for a few years and love it. I have always ordered it directly from Paula’s Choice. I decided to order it via Amazon to save on shipping. I will not do that again. The item arrived “sealed” as in it had a small rectangular cellophane sticker taping down the cap. The pump is not working and in removing it, I am not certain this container holds the full amount of product. I’m not sure. I will try to get the product out of the container, but am not sure how much I will be able to scrap out of there with the pump not working. I am disappointed with this item, though the product within it does seem to be authentic Paula’s Choice product.

I bought this two weeks ago after watching Lisa Eldridge ...
I bought this two weeks ago after watching Lisa Eldridge video. It is very light weight and gentle. The smell is delicate and pleasing. My skin appears brighter and smoother.

I think the product is nice, however it has a terrible smell
I think the product is nice, however it has a terrible smell. It reminds me of self tanner smell. The smell doesn't go away either, it stays potent even after a night sleep.

Will never go without this.
Love it. This is the second bottle I've gone through & there is nothing else like it that I've tried. For years I used Philosophy Hope In A Jar and it wasn't until a close friend explained the glory that is AHA to me that I realized the exfoliation effects I loved from HIAJ could be maximized by using a product that is specifically catering to that goal. I have sensitive skin so I was happy to find a Paula's Choice AHA treatment with a lower percent. I have combo skin but some major hyper pigmentation from fading acne scars. I use this 3-4 times a week taking a day in between each use, and I notice a difference the morning after every single application.I will never live without this product. Unless they discontinue it - in which case I hope they are prepared for my lifetime qty purchase!Side note: Do not use this in the morning!! AHA leaves your skin more sensitive to sun damage since it removes the top layer of skin cells - best used at night. If you have to use it in the AM always remember to use along with UVA/UVB SPF 30 minimum sunscreen (if you don't already!).
