great price! great fit, runs strong.operation went smoothly, not a lot of instructions or tips included.just a little different in appearance from original, but everything fit and hooked up perfectly,tested before installing -(put out 80 psi).took an afternoon to do the job, car runs great now.DEFINITELY BUY THE TANK GROMMET -they rip easily when sliding out the filler pipe. (should be included, even if they had to up the price a few bucks) -had to drop everything and run to the ford dealer at 4pm.you need a special tool to disconnect the filter from fuel line(s)also remember to snap the fuel tank gauge arm in place before installing.

Fit perfectly. Coudn't hear the old fuel pump cycle when we turned on the key, so figured it was the fuel pump.... could have been the relay, but it clicked when you turned the ignition on. It's a big project, but sure saved a lot of money doing it myself! This Spectra fuel pump works perfectly. Had my concerns because of price, but so far (3 weeks) makes my Mustang run great! Ford has a reputation for fuel pumps going bad after 90K+ miles... same thing with my old Ford Van.

It was shipped on time installation was easy. Make sure to push the metal sensor arm into the clips before installation ( I had to drop the fuel tank twice, because I didn't lock the sensor arm). Product works fine just like the original. DON'T forget to push the sensor arm into the clips; this will save you time (otherwise fuel gauge will be off).

Awesome, right price for fuel pump assembly. Excellent fit, installed easier than removing original. Solved no start from failed fuel pump. Also vehicle idles smoother and has much more power. Replaced fuel filter and tank grommet at same time. Do not forget to check that float arm is clipped completely to level sensor like I did. Had to go back in to tank to make gauge read correctly. No fault of product, installer error.

This did not include the strainer, which was impossible to ascertain from the product description (included with SOME models). I bought this unit in order to have a drop-in solution. It turned out to not have the strainer, and the filler neck gasket needed for replacing the unit. Very poor description on what is included with your purchase- I wouldn't recommend this for anyone expecting to get everything you need to replace this unit.

I just purchased this unit and discovered that no strainer was included. There is an "internal filter" attached to actual fuel pump, but no external strainer. I tried to buy a strainer at a local auto parts store, but no auto parts stores within 30 miles of me has a clue as to what the right part is. Spectra's warranty policy even states the warranty is voided if installed without the appropriate strainer. I am returning this unit first thing Monday. No more Spectra Premium for me....

I was hesitant to buy the pump due to the cheap price, however the pump installed fine, works fine and everything "plugged and played" with no modifications to wiring or connections! So far, after 30 days everything is working as it should. At this point in time, i would recommend this pump to all.
