It doesn't open well--the latch buttons don't actually move, but it seems like it's locked. It comes with 2 keys, but they don't do anything (and they're inside the "locked" container). Ultimately I used a knife to lift the lid--nothing broke, it just doesn't open easily. After it's opened everything was great. I will say the cushions are quite large for a woman's watch, though you can squish it to make it fit. Also, watches with a leather band will stick up a bit and the pillows won't fit as comfortably as the watches that lie more flat with a metal strap. Finally, if you plan to use this for bracelets as well, they'll have to go on the top because any chunky stone/ decoration will make closing the drawer somewhat to impossibly difficult.Ultimately, I really like this box--it does exactly what I wanted it to do: organize and display my various watches, and allow me to organize my bracelets. I would repurchase, but I think a cheaper price would be better

Really substantial product. I ordered this for myself, if you ha a small wrist your watches may not fit. I would definitely recommend this watch box as the quality is surprisingly good. Love the glass top, nice for my solar watches. This would make a great gift as well.

I have a couple of Eco-Drive watches that depend on having light in order to keep going, and this product works excellent for that. In addition to the Eco-Drives, I have a couple that don't require the light, and it is nice having the second compartment as well to store these watches. Overall the shipping was amazingly quick with amazon prime, and the product is exactly as I required for my watch collection. In addition a feature I wasn't even aware of is that there is a lock and key for the upper level which is awesome, except that the box as a whole only weighs like 3 pounds so someone could just walk away with the whole box anyways if it came to it. But all in all for the price it is a great watch box and even had an extra feature I didn't notice on the description

Bought two as a gift for my boyfriend. They're nice!

This box is absolutely beautiful and just as pictured!! It came unlocked with two keys; you just have to squeeze the knobs on the latch to open it. There wasn't a trace of the "glue smell" other reviewers claimed, which made me very happy! The hinges are solid and smooth and look/feel as though they will last ages. I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he fell in love with it! He has watches ranging from normal-size to diesel and they all fit within the slots, avoiding contact with the glass and lid when it is closed. This box is overall high quality and I will definitely be buying another for myself! :)
