Not bricks. These are flat tiles.
Not 4.5” x 9” bricks as stated on the items I ordered. These are about 1.5” x 7”. I needed bricks that can be stacked around a soldering area to trap heat. But these are thin and must be meant for use as floor tiles or to lay fat on a table top under a kiln etc? Not what I ordered.

Not worth the tine it takes to order them.
The bricks do not hold up to heat at all. All four bricks crumbled within two hours of use. I was using them for front and back heat shields on my forge. I ended up going to the local hardware store and buying 12 yellow bricks for the same price. Been using those for two months now and haven’t had the first one break. I would advise against purchasing the Simond insulating fire bricks unless you are wanting to use them for chalk to write on the driveway or something.

Fake picture
The picture is a fake. They aren't bricks, they are thin tiles. But hey, they are priced like 1.5 to 2.5" thick tiles, so that counts for something I guess. The description does say the correct thickness in one place, but then it goes on to exaggerate the weight by 2 1/4 lbs. (Roughly 1 1/8 lbs per tile.)
