So good from Poland!

These Wedel tortes bring fond memories of my childhood in the Polish communities in and around Detroit, Michigan. These are kind of like a giant round Kit-Kat: delicious, delicate, and not too sweet. Because the designs in chocolate on the front of the tortes are so beautiful, they make a wonderful gift. And they make for a pretty presentation to have on your dessert table.

A friend brought some back from Poland. I ate it & got some more. These are really delicious.

I couldn't find these at my local shop, and the cashiers always wonder what this is. For anyone not Polish, they are wafer cookies that are effectively a giant round disk and are covered in dark chocolate. These are just yum and I don't buy very often because it's easy to eat the. whole. dang. thing.

This is waffer covered with chocolate, elegantly wrapped, can be given as a nice gift. Tastes heavenly!. Not overly sweet, with a tea or coffee makes a great dessert!

We received one a while back from a friend, loved it, so I ordered the set for Christmas presents. We opened one and it tasted good. However, not sure but the expiration was only a month out. Will get again!

My Dad lives on the other side of the country and I always try to send him things that we would have bought if he was nearby when we could celebrate in person. This was this year's birthday cake. Since he is Polish, I wanted to send him a Polish cake and this is what Amazon suggested.HUGE win!! He has been raving about his treat and absolutely loves it! Going to order another one for me to try since Daddy loves it so much, I now need to try it!

Looked pretty, but it was inedible it was so stale. So dissapointed!
