Robert Larson 672-7150 Miniature Scraper Plane

I ordered this little plane because it was cheap and I didn't have one yet, and it seemed useful. It might be, but it showed up with the iron ground on a belt sander by someone who seems to have had their eyes closed - the edge isn't even close to perpendicular and there's a big step in the heel of the bevel, so there will be lots of work required to get the plane to a state where I can actually try it. It would almost have been better to ship the thing with a totally un-ground iron rather than one with so much work to re-do.Fit and finish on the rest of the parts are alright, there are scratches and the hardware is cheap, it should function, but the picture on Amazon is somewhat nicer than what arrived.
