Renews DRW
Best product I have used to re-new DRW to technical clothing. Works real good on Gore-Tex fabrics.

Improves the water repellency of my outerwear, little to no scent.
The media could not be loaded. This is a review of Grangers Clothing Repel/Wash-in Waterproofer for Outerwear / 1ltrI have two winter parkas that have reduced water repellency. This did a decent job of restoring the water repellency of both of them. One parka was Gore-tex, which is a membrane bonded to the underneath of the nylon outer while the other parka is not Gore-tex but had a factory water repellency added to the nylon outer. In both cases this Grangers Clothing Repel restored the water repellency quite well to the parkas. The liquid is milky-white in appearance. If you get it on your fingers, it actually takes a bit of effort to get it fully off of your fingers attesting to its water repellent qualities.I have a top-load High Efficiency washer and used 6 capfuls as per instructions. 2 capfuls for the first coat, and 1 capful for each subsequent coat, then doubled because of using a Top-load washer, so 6 capfuls total. After washing you are to put them in the dryer at the highest temperature recommended for your garment. The hotter the better apparently. I put my coats in at High heat. The results speak for themselves as you can see in my video. There is no real scent and no stickiness or residue on the coats that I can detect. It just works.

Broken bottle cap=mess
This product works great and i highly recommend using it. I snowboard a minimum of 30 days a season. I wash and add the repel to my gore tex shells 1-2 times a season depending upon wear. 3/5 stars due to damaged product upon receiving shipment. The bottle cap was broken and over half the fluid escaped and made quite a mess in my home. Amazon refunded no problem and I’m purchasing again but the damaged product and resulting mess is less than satisfactory

Cheap way to make a jacket like new
The media could not be loaded. I have a couple of "waterproof" garments that the waterproofing has stopped working (due to needing to wash one, and excess wear on another). This stuff is really easy to use. The instructions on the bottle were pretty minimal (and in a tiny font!), so I went to the Grangers website to get better instructions. From the Grangers website:"Use 50ml capful per large item, or two smaller items. Use half a cap if handwashing.•For best results we recommend reproofing garments separately.•Pour product directly into the detergent drawer of your Washing Machine.•Wash on a full cycle at 30°C/86°F or according to care label instructions."I did one pair of children's snow pants and a North Face jacket, and used two capfuls of waterproofer. I did it on a delicate cycle (per the tag in the North Face jacket) and tumble dried low for 40 minutes (the website recommended using a dryer if the wash instructions on the garment allowed it). The results are excellent: the water runs off the jacket without even beading up, despite pouring water on it (see video; sorry it's upside down). Prior to using this product the water would soak into the fabric almost immediately.I had previously used Nikwax waterproofing wash on the jacket, but it didn't seem to do anything. Perhaps it is because I air dried the jacket after washing instead of tumble dried on low. The results from the Granger product are superior to Nikwax.

Waterproof ... sadly a bust !
It didn’t work ... water dripped right on and in the material.Instead I purchased a waterproof spray. It worked much much better

Brought military Gore-Tex back to life.
I've been using some of the same rain gear since I spent time in the Marines and many will agree that your issued Gore-Tex is never waterproof an more there to keep you "warm" instead (more like a balmy sauna). It seems the more you wore it and the more it got "washed" the worse it got. Years later after getting out, I pulled out my old purchased gear and gave this was a try. I was impressed that it took that funky smell (step into a surplus store or ask a Marine what supply smelled like and you can get an idea) almost out. I washed it a second time and I was surprised at the result! No more funk! I decided to try out my jacket in the woods and was surprised at that it actually seemed to repel water. Makes me wish I had this stuff years ago, but luckily I could still get away with a poncho back then. Start off with two wash and dry cycles and you will be surprised as well. Perfect for bringing old fabrics back or even newer gear. I tried this out on my snowboard gear and got improved results as well.
