A bit finicky and one sided
I didn't read the directions the 1st time I used it. I thought it just a heating pad, pretty straight forward, no? lol. So my bad. But the 1st time I used it, it kept turning off. I'd set the temp and thought I was good to go since the timer was already counting down. Nope! I guess if you don't touch the timer button after setting the temp it doesn't work. How silly. Why does the timer count down if it's not on?Also when I read the directions it said that you should only use one side of it, the side opposite the tag. Never in my life have I encountered a one sided heating pad! I don't know if that's because it's infrared or why? On that note I really wish they mentioned the infrared and explained it on Amazon or on the directions. It only says infrared in a comparison chart and I almost wonder if it's a typo because it's not mentioned anywhere else. Additionally I wish that there was more control over the temp and they didn't jump 20 degrees...and why isn't it a consistent jump? The 130 setting is not hot enough and 150 is too hot. Why not jump 10 degrees every time? I had a similar older version of this heating pad (it lasted nearly 10 years before giving up on me) and it just had low/med/high. This has a digital read out, so why not give us more control? I'm kinda missing my old heating pad. I'm hopeful that this one has a better effect if it is in fact infrared. I got the more expensive one because of the mentioned infrared and it's weighted, but it's not much heavier than the old one tbh. I love the fact that this gives you moist heat, that's why I bought the original. I hated using wet clothes or misting my heating pad and dry heat makes me hurt. It did mention however if you live in a dry climate or your AC causes dry climate to use a humidifier in the room. Luckily I don't have a dry climate but it's good to know. Overall this is a good heating pad compared to one without the moisture features. It's well made and gets super hot. I just see room for improvement and it's kinda annoying. This is a pricey heating pad. I wish they could have worked out the kinks by now.

Great quality, gets really hot.
I love this thing. Regular heating pads don't get hot enough. This one has ample settings - I mostly use 150 and 167 degrees. Really great quality and one of the best purchases I ever made. I use it for period cramps, back and neck pain, or just to stay warm while I work at my desk. Have recommended it to many people. There's no issues with it and it doesn't use too much power - I have older electrical wiring in my house. It's very bendy and comfortable, with no pointy wires in the middle of it. I think it is worth the price and glad it isn't more expensive. I could easily see them charging over $100 for this. Just be careful because it provides such good pain relief that you can over do it! I did get some redness on my belly a few times. I've had it for 1 year now with no issues.

I love this heating pad!
This is the best heating pad I’ve ever had. The cord length is long enough to reach my outlet. I love that it is weighted and the heat Is more than I could have expected. I’ve tried other heating pads but all had wussy heat. This one does not. You can adjust the temperature and the timer easily. My physical therapist recommended this product and I’m so glad he did! Thank you for this fantastic heating pad.

A Heating Pad that Actually Works!
I like this moist heating pad for my arthritis. It really gets hot if that’s what you need it. It comes in different sizes…also a plus. It has a lighted display which is good in the dark. The only issue is the cover over the heating pad has a funky smell when the pad is turned on. The best thing to do is wash the cover before use. Otherwise this is a good find!

Excellent warmer. Disregard previous review
I gave a review earlier but I have to take that back. This device works excellent I just didn't give it enough time it got so hot but I had to turn it off. Now I know to just set it at a lower temperature I need to find out where that other review is and cancel it. My apologies

Inconsistent heat
I took the Amazon package off and found the product package not secure with any tape it was easily opened. I opened the package, the pad was neatly folded but the electrical chord was just loose in the package. It looked like it might have been a returned item and upon turning it on I could see why. My doctor wanted me to use the pad for 15 minutes on one side of one side of my hips and then 15 minutes on the other side. When I turn the pad on, I can feel one side is warm. The other isn’t so I make sure that the site that is warm is on my hip. when I first turn it on it seems like it stays on the 115 Fahrenheit but then when that’s done and I go to put it on the other side the heat is almost unbearably hot for about five minutes and then finally settles down to probably is the 150 Fahrenheit. Not happy with this product. Don’t buy it

Large, weighted moist heating pad
Arrived on time and all was as represented in the description. Hot quickly; cord long enough; size great as wrapping it around my knee. My only complaint isn't because of the representation but I didn't realize how heavy a 5 lb heating pad it. My mistake not the company's. But does the job represented.

Really great item
I bought this because I have hip pain as well as sciatic, very flexible to bend and use for your neck or to sit on and even against for your back. I loved it so much that I bought a 2nd. This has several heat settings 113, 130, 150 and 167. Has a timer and the cord is very lengthy. I also love the fact that you can take the cover off and wash if needed. This has helped me with my pain relief
