we have a porch with multiple fans and the chains for both light and speed were too short to get to without a stool. These were VERY simple to use, just measure, cut, add the connector and splice in place. Took about 15 min to do 6 chains and make them easy to access and use. Have plenty left over if need be for other fans. Here in FL, especially this time of year, fans are critical for comfort, and these enable you to adjust anytime you need to. Highly recommended item

This purchase had a lot of footage of chain for the money. There were enough connectors for me to do what I needed. My only disappointment was that the color wasn't bronze enough. It is more brassy than bronze. It seems that it will be sturdy enough, after all I'm not swinging from the fan. The ease of installation is more on me than the product itself. My hand strength isn't what it used to be but I did manage to connect the parts without requiring a tool, although it was close. Thanks, RM.

This quality chain is worth the cost especially when you can cut it at any length. I needed a longer length than a small cord which kept fraying due to age and discoloring on a light going to the basement. This was perfect and solved the problem. No more standing on my tiptoes.

I bought this pull chain kit to change out gold chains on my fan pulls to silver and to make them longer and easier to reach. It is very simple to cut them and put on the little clasps, really happy with this purchase.

Cheap overseas junk. Bought Levtion chain in same order. The Leviton is twice the weight and strength, with no cheesy cheap looking finish, as found on this flimsy product.
