Install Bay - Abs Laminate Carbon Fiber 24 Inch X 48 Inch - Each (LAMCF), Abs Laminates

Very disappointed in this panel. Since the product description does not indicated thickness, I reached out to Installbay, the supplier of this panel, and asked them how thick it was. Both a sales and a tech responsed within an hour and both said the panel was 1/8" thick, which is what I had hoped to hear. I was replacing a boat dash gauge cluster panel and needed a product with some rigidity. After tearing the dash apart in preparation of receiving the panel, the panel arrived in a box that was well packaged, but had been partly kinked. Fearing I'd find a cracked panel, I opened the box only to find a flimsy, less than 1/16" thick panel (it did have a small kink in it as well), totally unusable for my application. Silly me for not noticing the LAM in the name. This is a laminate panel only and not to be used on its own.The panel itself is fine. The faux carbon fiber is nothing more than tiny little gray rectangles printed on the plastic. Not much else to add about the quality.I gave it 1-star because of the annoying situation. The price I paid is appropriate for a 1/8" thick rigid panel, but not a flimsy 1/16" panel.
