Weatherbeeta Prime Jump Shaped Saddle Pad, Black, Full

Well constructed. Nice materials - resilient where most friction happens. I’ve only used it in winter-spring (Washington) but I haven’t once found it wet at the end of a lesson. It washes and dries well, but getting the hairs out takes some patience and elbow grease.The colour is elegant and it has been complimented several times at the barn.BUT - FOR PEOPLE WHO STRUGGLE WITH PAD SLIPPAGE - the straps to attach to the d-rings are too short for saddles with THICK KNEE ROLLS/pads!! If you manage to get them through, they stick up in the air like airplane flaps. Plus, they’re a nightmare to actually fit through the d-ring. IT EVEN HAPPENS WHEN YOU USE THE GIRTH STRAPS!! It’s a real design flaw if you, like me, are looking for a pad for those horses that constantly lose their pads.If they fixed this, I would definitely buy more! I love Weatherbeeta gear for their great price-quality point.

I orginally bought the maroon color of this pad to try it out and see how I liked it. I found it to be an excellent pad so I bought a black one to use at shows. It fits my 15.2h Appendix gelding perfectly. The shape of it is really nice as it prevents bunching that other pads I've used have done. It also has a breathable mesh spine and extra durability for the girth area. Overall an excellent pad for a performance horse.

After reading the reviews, I hesitated before purchasing but am pleasantly surprised and will most probably buy another! The Velcro straps that connect to the d rings on your saddle work beautifully, I had seen someone complain about them pulling the pad off of the horses shoulders but this was not a problem for me which may be due to my thick half pad holding it down but it didn’t seem it would be a problem either way. The girth area is nice and wide so my fluffy girth fit right in there and the pad stayed put for a whole 9mile ride! Love the breathable spine and the fit of it all. I will say that if you have a saddle larger than a 17.5” it may be too short as my half pad overlapped the end of the pad a bit.

I love this pad! It looks elegant and fits well with the high withered design. The only issue I have is the velcro straps that connect to the D rings on the saddle interfere with a standard breast collar as they both must attach at the same point. Because of this, there was a slight degree of slippage under the front of the saddle. Overall, worth the savings compared to LeMieux.

I adore these saddle pads! Not only is the quality amazing - but the saddle pad wicks away moisture better than any other pad I have used. It's light and sits nicely on my horse's back and stays in place when jumping (seriously, it has never moved out of place). Worth every penny, and isn't crazy expensive like other brands such as Lemiuex. I do wish they had more colors available - but nonetheless I will be buying one again. Weatherbeeta is an amazing brand for affordable, but great quality equestrian equipment, coming from my own experience. 10/10

Like others have said, the proportions on this pad are strange. Too short, the girth guide is not in the best spot. The webbing on the spine rubbed my high withered horse. I should have returned this. I usually love Weatherbeeta products, but this one missed the mark.

I have a 17.5 jumping saddle with extra forward flaps and this fit the bill. The color is a dark burgundy red and my only complaint is the front straps are too short - that may be a saddle/pad compatibility issue. I don't use them for the most part. The seller was prompt and items arrived in good condition. I do think this is a great alternative to the LeMieux.

Great quality and love the color. Looks great on our chestnut mare. Got the matching ear bonnet too.

First time I’ve tried this brand. I like the navy colour and fabric. It has a mesh middle and a wick away type interior fabric. Fits my jump saddle very well. Would buy again.

My daughter brought one for her pony as it states good for jumping - it’s not wrong. It doesn’t move where some you get move this doesn’t at all and she’s very happy that now both horse and pony have a very good saddle pad.

really good saddle pad, fits really well on my gelding hafliger/cob. he’s been jumping really well since he’s been wearing it. the straps dont fit the billits but i put them through the d - rings and helps a lot. i recommend this saddle pad loads and gathers the sweat from the back really well.

This product is very small I've had to sell it for a tenner a loss of £20 it is NOT full size it's more cob pony.

Love the colour and matches the description! Look amazing but aren’t expensive!
