I originally bought these for use as jar openers, but looking further saw that they had multiple functions. They will be good as trivets and perhaps pot holders but they are rather large and kind of slippery to be used as jar openers. You would think that with all the tire like ridges in these that they would grasp lids but they do not, they are slippery on jars or any thing that you need to grasp and turn. I can use these for trivets for hot pots or pot holders.

These are a different shape silicone pot holders from the round one I wrote about recently, but they are useful in the same way - convenient, easy to use, and clean up is a snap. I actually used these as gifts, and all of my recipients have expressed positively about them. Some originally thought they were a little strange but once they started using them they found hoe useful they are.

I like the bright colors and that when I set hot pots on them they protect handmade talavera tiles surrounding my cooktop. Work great for under hot casserole dishes too. I also use them under mixing bowls or whatever else I might sit on the antique butcher block table in the kitchen. Handy.I use cloth pot holder for hot lids on pans though as these are too stiff for that.

These are great for use under hot pots on my granite counters. They are a little stiff for use as a potholder, but that's not what I bought them for.

Works fine! Mostly use as pot holder and as trivet. Still looks good after more than six months of use.

I was excited about these; but unfortunately, the cloth potholders work better. We've had a couple of sore fingers (especially if you accidentally hold where the little hole is and your skin touches a hot dish). Maybe I'll find another use for them, but disappointed in them as pot holders.

I originally ordered these to replace some old pot holders and was very impressed by the quality. So, when I ordered a large toaster oven for my garage (in an attempt to beat the desert heat for the summer months when it's 110° outside), I reordered. What I received was a huge disappointment. The blue color arrived aqua instead (certainly not problematic, but a surprise just the same) and all of them are of a much thinner silicone, enough so that they are pretty useless as a pot holder. I won't be ordering from this vendor again.
