Heavy and Cute but...
I bought this weighted door stop for my wife. She likes it and uses it on every nice day to hold open our outside door. It works well but there is no felt on the paws so she has to place it carefully, and one of the paws is not "straight" against the door. The outstretched paw hits flush up against the door, but the bent paw is turned out a little so it doesn't sit flush up against the door. Maybe a minor detail for some, but both paws should sit up against the door flat IMO. And it would be nice to have some felt (pink pads?) on the bottom of the feet so the door isn't scratched when a little wind kicks up.

Kitty door stop keeps our cat from closing doors
Love the wrought iron kitty holding our bedroom door open. One of our cats loves to close our bedroom doors and we were concerned she would get locked in a room without food or water when we are gone so this does the trick in keeping the doors open.

it's a great bookend.
I needed a bookend to support the cookbooks on my kitchen counter. It's surprisingly weighty and well made and exactly what I was looking for. The only negative about it for me is how creepy it looks in person. It's hard to identify what creature it's supposed to be. Other than that, it's a great bookend.

Functional but crude
This door stop is heavy and will certainly serve its purpose. However it it crudely made. It does not sit flat and steady on a level surface, and the two front paws, being held up against a door, are no where near parallel.

It really works....it is quite heav and I use it outside to prop open a metal gate
I bought one and it was great so I bought another for my other gate!

Does What It Is Supposed to Do and Looks Good
I needed a door stopper, in order to keep my cat from running out the door when I leave it ajar. This not only does the job, it is cute and decorative.

Good and heavy
The only stop that holds my door open. So heavy is Good!

Very, very cute
I use this to hold one of my French doors open during warm weather to let fresh air (and cats) in. This isn't overly large, but is solid and heavy enough to keep the door from moving even in a stiff breeze. The stretching cat is very sweet and makes people smile. I'm very pleased with it.

Better than nothing....
I was surprised how hard it was just to find a functional and solid door stop that I could use to keep my back door open. It needed to be weather proof for this purpose which most of them weren't. I plumped for this in the end as it wasn't too expensive. It's ok but the shape of it is really annoying as when it's windy out it still allows the door to move about, and leaves marks on the door. The movement of the door has also subsequently caused bits to chip off the cat. A cat just sitting would have been better. Having said that I do use it, and will continue to do so.

Quite heavy and looks nice.
Bought as a present, so I'm unsure how effective this is as I haven't seen it in situ. Quite heavy and I'm sure it'll do the job. I placed it against one of my doors and noticed that because the two feet that prop the door open don't line up with each other, only one foot touches the door. I don't know if this is an issue for the user.
