After 20+ years, my wife mentioned she wanted to replace the current SS flatware set we had enjoyed using. She wanted more place settings when we entertain more of our friends and their children's family. I’m fussy about selecting flatware that feels like a high quality utensil in my hand. So, I reviewed several styles that Mikasa makes and we carefully selected this Bravo 12 setting flatware set. After running them thru our dishwasher, we immediately started using them. We’re retired and can honestly say this is the best SS set we have ever owned. They have a pleasant heft in your hand, all have a high quality buffing, blended rounded edges, plus every utensil was protected in individual shipping wrappers. We are really glad we bought this sturdy Mikasa Bravo SS flatware! Built so well, No doubt it will be the only SS set we’ll ever need! So don’t wait as long as we did to enjoy using this quality SS flatware!

Excellent and tasteful design - better looking in person. The website photos don't do any justice. Each utensil in this set is larger than those in the Henckels set I'm replacing. The salad fork in this Mikasa set could easily be mistaken for a dinner fork. I also like the heft of this set - noticeably heavier than other sets I've owned. As for the reviews mentioning rusting, I've owned many flatware sets in my life and learned early on if you put the knives in the dishwasher and allow them to dry there you're going to see rust spots. I hand wash all my dinner knives so I don't run into this problem. Note: If you do see rust on any of your flatware it is easily removed by soaking those utensils in concentrated lemon juice for several hours and then rinsing with hot water.

We liked everything about this set of silverware, the weight of the individual pieces, the way they feel in your hand, and size of the individual pieces. Cleans up great in our dishwasher with no spots, but we use jet dry in our dishwasher. LIke the look or contrast between the satin and polished parts on the silverware.

Love these! A touch of elegance and substantial in the hand. The knives are pretty sharp and can serve as more than butter knives.

Beautiful, but forks and spoons are really big. Returning.
