Tangle Teezer | The Thick and Curly Detangling Hairbrush for Wet & Dry Hair | Thick, Curly, Textured Hair | Lilac Fondant

I have had the original Tangle Teezer brush for a while now and it’s the only brush I use - my hairdresser uses it when I need my hair done, it’s so good and completely tugging and pain free. I have thick hair though and have to use the original brush underneath and on top for it to get right through my hair. So I saw this and thought it was worth a try.It’s amazing, it goes straight through my hair and brushes the thick, bleach highlighted, long mop of hair to a sleek finish in no time. There’s no tugging and I don’t need to worry about getting at the hair underneath, it grabs it all in one go. My husband commented that I looked younger, my 50 something hair has gained a shine that it hasn’t had for a few years - I wouldn’t have believed a brush could make your hair look younger but it does!I know Tangle Teezer brushes last for years, they’re really easy to clean hairs out of and you can wash them. I’ve had this for about 6 months and it’s amazing for getting tangled out of my very thick 4C hair. It doesn’t pull or tug. It’s the right pressure and helped detangle your hair. My only downside is that when you’re moisturising your hair and your hands are filled with product, the comb does tend to slide out of your hands sometimes.Would highly recommend to those thick, tightly coiled haired ladies who struggle to detangle hair like me !

I genuinely don't know why it's taken so long for someone to manufacture a brush like this... but I am so grateful they finally did!I have waist-length, thick, curly, wayward hair that until now has stubbornly refused all attempts at getting a brush through it. I have tried so many. I had resigned myself to a life of using a shark tooth comb to attain some semblance of trained tresses, and then along comes the Tangle Teezer. It's an absolute joy!What used to take around an hour, and always ended with a headache, now takes five minutes, and no pain. I cannot think of a better reason to use this brush. Apart from the fact that it actually works, too!One thing, though... please make one with a handle!

Great brush! I have long, thick hair and I have used the normal Tangle Teezers for years but found they wouldn’t go through my hair very easily, so when I saw this had longer bristles I had to order it.Works well with my hair due to the longer bristles. One thing I will say though, I don’t feel like it takes the knots out of my hair as well as the normal Tangle Teezers do.Apart from that, all good!

I bought this brush after reading a positive review from a fellow 4c-haired sista. She didn’t lie, this brush is great! I’ve been using it for every wash day, both wet and dry, for deep conditioning, for styling. There’s no pulling or breakage and the brush combs through my hair VERY easily and gently, more so when using a leave in conditioner. I’ve never experienced brushing like this before, which may sound like an exaggeration but any Afro girl knows the struggle of the days when we had to use hot combs to get our manes to co-operate. Thankfully, those days are gone.I have been recommending this brush to all of my friends and have even used it on my 1 year old nephew (he really enjoys it!). Worth the buy.Only negative is the long teeth make it difficult to remove all the hair but washing the brush - especially under a power shower - tends to tackle this.

It detangles and smoothes so effectively, without any pain or discomfort. In fact, it feels so pleasant, my only regret is how quickly it does the job! The bristles are soft and bendy, but not too soft to resist thick, coarse hair. They are long enough to penetrate through thick hair right to the scalp (oooh head massage!) so you don't feel like you're only grazing the top layer of your hair while a jungle of neck pubes thrives underneath!Mighty little brush! Mine is a purple. What's not to love? :)

I had bought one of these before and it wasn't very good. Then I realised it wasn't the genuine Tangle Teaser. So I decided to get the real thing. I am so glad I did. My hair is very thick, long and wavy. It is so thick, that I once fell backwards off a stool and hit my head on the corner of my coffee table, and I didn't even have a bump! It is a nightmare to brush, other brushes I have used really hurt, but this just goes through my hair without any pulling, or pain. As hairdressers are sadly closed due to the virus, my hair is in desperate need of cutting. But it's going to have to wait. But this is a Godsend. Thank you to the guy who invented it, those dragons must be kicking themselves!

Wash day and hair combing was a trumatic experience for both me and my 4 year old, who has long thick curly hair! I saw this on youtube and thought I would gve it a go even though it looked gimmicky.All I can saw is WOW!!! I felt like an evil Mom who had been performing hair torture on my child! This has change our hair care routine to such a relaxing bonding experience!Works amazingly well on both our hair....Bg thank you to the creator of this product!

Ammetto che ho dovuto utilizzarla almeno un tre volte prima di capire bene che è un prodotto fantastico, perché non conoscendo inizialmente il suo uso e avendola comprata un po' perché ero in preda alla disperazione, visto che non riuscivo a pettinare in alcuno modo i miei capelli lunghi, mossi e finissimi e, un po' sconfortata dal fatto che credevo di dovermi arrendere a doverli tagliare perché nemmeno con questa spazzola riuscivo ad ottenere risultati, la stavo quasi per rendere.Una volta invece trovato il giusto verso e la giusta impugnatura per pettinare( io mi trovo bene con i capelli bagnati e con la maschera applicata) ho iniziato a capire le qualità di questa spazzola districante.FantasticaLa consiglio vivamente perché non strappa i capelli, non crea delle matasse frustranti che uno per disperazione alla fine è costretto a tagliarsi ed anzi, in modo semplice e fluido, scivola fra i capelli, meglio se umidi e senza farti diventare calva, riesce a districarli perfettamente!!!.Da quando ho capito il giusto verso in cui pettinarmi e con un uso frequente ho praticamente migliorato già moltissimo l'aspetto dei miei capelli che sono più ordinati più lucidi e soprattutto non mi si formano più nodi impossibili da sciogliere. Consiglio a chi come me ha avuto un approccio iniziale un po' problematico di fare ulteriori tentativi perché sicuramente poi sarà davvero soddisfatto dell'acquisto fatto, è adattissimo anche per capelli finissimi e mossi, anzi, è la salvezza.

I have super curly hair with real tight curls only after getting washed and brushed at the shop and got knots instantly when it dried, but this brush works really well on my hair. Best I ever used even when my hair is matted. The only problem is if you expose it to water, it can start splitting apart. That’s why I have one in my shower and one outside so I can use one for each thing, Tangler teaser is the best.
