No such thing as a perfect stroller
After much research, I can say with the utmost confidence, there is no such thing as a perfect stroller. After months of looking at strollers spring had arrived and our Keyfit Caddy was no longer fitting our needs for our longer walks due to uneven sidewalks. Thus, it was time to choose, which I am not great at, as I frequently fall victim to analysis paralysis. I wanted a stroller with a huge canopy, all wheel suspension, and adjustable footrest that turned into a makeshift bassinet. After narrowing down to the Bumbleride Indie, Nuna Mixx, and Baby Jogger City Mini GT2, I chose the Indie. I liked the Nuna Mixx because of the reversible seat, the summer seat, which is a mesh back for hotter weather but ultimately ruled it out due to price, wheel size, and the tires not being air filled. Next, I liked the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 for the hand operated brake, light weight, easy fold frame, adjustable footrest, weight limit, lots of head room to grow into when the huge canopy is unfolded, and the price. I ultimately ruled the City Mini GT2 out due to the fold being outward, meaning the seat fabric is unprotected. I also didn’t like that the fold pull mechanism is right where the child sits, I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want to sit on a pull tether all day. The footrest also only had one setting. So that left me with the Bumbleride Indie. I also want to point out that Consumer Reports also ranked the Indie above the City Mini in their last stroller review, which also played into my decision. What I love about the Indie: The clean Eco-Tex fabric, the gorgeous tourmaline color stands out in a sea of black, red, navy, and grey strollers. This color also allows me to see if any bugs have landed on the stroller. I like that it folds in to protect the seat fabric. I like that the fabric beads off water. The canopy is legendary and nearly forms a little cave when unfolded, the air filled tires, the smooth ride(it practically pushes itself), it can turn a circle in tight spaces, the multi position footrest has little wings that snap up to form a little makeshift bassinet. The recline is seriously near completely flat, making it a nap champ. The recline pull system is great because it lets you pick the exact recline you want. When completely reclined and the back vent is open, your little one can see you, which is nice since this stroller doesn’t have a seat that turns around. Ground clearance, no tree stumps or bumpy pavement will trip you up here! Break away harness is terrific. Storage is terrific as well. What disappoints me: The canopy was just given two extra inches of height in the 2018 model, but it still pales in comparison to the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2, which has AMPLE space. This makes me fear we will out grow it quickly. Luckily it seems the resale value is good. The canopy also will not fold flat completely leaving me unable to see the baby when pushing the stroller. It has the range but will not stay and keeps popping forward. I am going to get a short bungee cord to hold it closed-which at $550 should not be necessary. The brake is not flip flop friendly. The air filled tires(yes, also in the parts I love, double edged sword) make me nervous about getting a flat. The warranty is only 3 years, Baby Jogger offers a LIFETIME guarantee on their frame. The handle bar feels a little shakey and makes me nervous when I need to pick up the back of the stroller over a big bump, feels like it will fall off. The recline pull system is tough to operate when your little one is in the stroller and needs to sit back up. The air pump supplied is a joke, my baby, who isn’t old enough to see the humor in most situations yet, was literally laughing at me trying to blow the tires up with the hand pump, get a small electric pump to save yourself time, unless you want to provide a show for your kid, the hand pump is the way to go. The fabric also kind of feels like it’s made with plastic bottles-which it is-but I wish the fabric felt softer and more breathable, like cotton.I hope this helps! As originally mentioned, there is no perfect stroller that does it all. Happy shopping!

Really easy to push but a few flaws still...
I have a 3 year old and baby on the way. My toddler is pretty much done with the stroller because he prefers to walk, though he still uses one at amusement parks and such. I bought this stroller knowing I'd need something that was more of an all-terrain stroller. I was really interested in it for its maneuverability and because it has the ability to attach the ride along board. In these departments, it does not disappoint. It is so smooth on various terrain and the board you buy separately works great. I love almost everything about this stroller, including the huge canopy for shade and adjustability of the seat and handle bars. The 3 things I really don't like is the lack of cupholders, the height of the canopy when open, and the difficulty closing it. There are no cup holders for kids and there is no parent console. I purchased the parent console that Bumbleride sells and am not thrilled with it. It would be nice if it came with a hard plastic clip on one rather than the soft strap on one that you have to buy separately (which then makes the ride on board impossible to stand on). The company keeps adjusting the canopy so there is more headroom when opened; however, they still haven't mastered it. My 3 year old hits his head but honestly, he doesn't seem to mind too much. Closing the stroller is a bit annoying... the front wheel has to be turned to the side and it never seems to be, which means I have to bend down and move the front wheel the correct direction to get it to close. This is the 2018 model and from what I've heard, they made the 2019 easier to close and have more headroom so it is nice to see they keep improving these things. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase, though I really do think I'm going to have to find an alternate cup holder solution for baby and me.

Checks all our boxes!
I’m loving this stroller. Not only is it very nice looking, it handles like a dream. It’s very easy to open/close and the stand up feature has been super helpful. It’s relatively light, considering it’s a jogging stroller and fits snuggly in my mini van trunk (upright.) so happy we went with this option over the others I looked at B.o.b and thule brands. It’s small enough to use daily and is nice to take for runs (I typically run 2-3 miles, its definitely not a hardcore running stroller!) just what we wanted.

Terrific purchase. Would buy again and again.
An amazing choice for a hybrid stroller. It’s great for the beach and off roading. It also works on hard surfaces just like a posh stroller. I had a terrible time deciding and this ended up being a great choice and we only need one stroller. No need for the Uppa baby or Bugaboo and the Thule or the bob. All in one. Also, the only infant safe -lay flat seat in a jogging stroller. Lastly, it is not any longer or larger than a regular stroller.

Excellent
LOVE this stroller! Maneuvers and “drives” great, with good storage. Also love the ample coverage of baby to protect against the sun.It is indeed heavy to lug in and out of the house, but this is a small price to pay for a stroller that makes our hilly neighborhood walks 10 times easier than our Britax B-Agile.

Love this stroller
Love this stroller! Bought it for my 6mo, and the only thing I regret is that we didn't get it sooner. It comes with detailed instructions, and is super easy to assemble - took me about 15 mins. The ride is smooth, wether I walk or jog. I like the adjustable footrest and canopy

Amazing in the snow, love the adjustable back, needs better pockets.
We've been using this stroller for about 6 months now, in summer and in winter. Overall we LOVE it, we have a dog and no car so we do a lot of walking, and this stroller has held up very well in all kinds of weather. The big wheels are amazing in snow, slush, ice, sand, grass, and pretty much anything we've come across. However there are a few minor design flaws that make it less than 5 stars.Pros:- adjustable back makes it very easy to go from bassinet to seat or in-between. If she falls asleep on a walk we just lower the back and she has a flat(ish) surface to sleep on.- huge basket underneath the stroller- so maneuverable and great on any terrain- adjustable handle makes it comfortable for my me and my husband with over a foot of height difference- sun/rain cover extends really far, feels very protective- not too heavy compared to other running strollersCons:- the opening for the basket is smaller than the basket itself, so larger items that would otherwise fit simply can't get through the opening- the pockets on the back of the stroller are hard to reach even in the sitting position, and impossible to reach when you recline the stroller. So if the baby falls asleep and I want to put down the back into the bassinet position, I have to get my stuff out of the pockets first. The only pocket that's accessible in bassinet mode is very small, it only fits my phone.- On the sun/rain cover, there's a mesh window to see the baby. It has a flap that covers it in case of rain. However, when you get home and open rain cover to get the baby out, whatever water is on the rain cover collects in the fold exactly where the mesh window is and drips through directly on to the baby's head. One last thing in case any Bumbleride designers read this: please make a coffee cup holder for this stroller! Most generic coffee cup attachments won't work because the stroller handle pivots up and down so the cup would be on an angle. I need somewhere to put my coffee!

Great stroller
So light and easy to handle. I love that it is suitable for infants without having to purchase expensive attachments. I am looking forward to better weather so my baby and I can get outside for long walks.
