Can i use it as alarm to wake up?

It depends on how sensitive your hearing is. These chimes are not very loud. Also, I don't see anyway it could be set up as an alarm.

Can i use these under porch and are they water proof? Do they need to be close to each other ? Would love to play them in different parts of the yard.

They should be ok under a porch, I would not recommend them to close to water or dust, but I keep my set indoors. They are very pretty, and well made. The set I have is not very large, so sound is not very loud but it does have a pretty tone.
