James Goll has written a book that contains lessons about communicating with GOD that every Christian ought to know and constantly practice. ALL of us have some gifts of discernment, no one has all gifts of discernment. Goll clearly differentiates the types of gifts, how to recognize them, how to test them as 'truths' according to Scripture, how to determine whether your sensing is from the Holy Spirit or from the 'other' source, and very practical tips on to use the 'information' for the benefit of the Kingdom.I HIGHLY recommend reading this book...

I really enjoy all the books that I have read by James W. Goll. There were somethings that I already knew in this book but so much more that I didn't know...The writer makes it easy to understand how to discern what is going on in your life, how to discern what is of God, what's of you and what is of your enemy...excellent book and I encourage those who want the gift of discernment to read this book...He not only shows you how to accept this gift but also how to use it.

I was asked to teach a class on prophecy, so I bought several books to help with my studies. As I read, I realized that discernment was also a very important topic, so I bought some books on discernment.This was a well written book that provided other perspectives to assist me with teaching. The author knows the subject and did a fine job of imparting the knowledge and experiences of his life path.

This book is excellent—easy to understand, and filled with practical ways to become more mature in the gift of discerning. James Goll inspires his readers to grow in this gifting, while always staying humble and glorifying God.

I purchased this book because I wanted to learn more about activating and using discernment. This book was amazing and I loved the scripture references and how it easy it was to read and understand the point of the author. This book provided a lot of knowledge about God, prayers, and discernment. I have already recommended to a few people. I definitely suggest anyone who is trying to dive in deeper with their relationship with God to purchase this book.

His insights and suggested approaches are excellent. I have been a lay minister for nearly 60 years and wish I had read this in my early years. So, why only three stars? Too much "I", "my", etc. that takes away from his core message. It is obvious he has been a wonderful minister but let his book bear that testimony, he doesn't need to. If this does not bother you please get the book, you will gain great insight.

This book is amazing! I really enjoy James' writing style. He is simple enough that anyone can comprehend, yet engages me even though I've been a believer for some time. He gives Spirit-led wisdom and also encourages application at the end of the chapters. This book as well as The Supernatural Life by Cindy Jacobs, The Worship Warrior by Chuck Pierce and Lifestyle of a Watchman by James Goll are some of my top favorite books.

This book provides depth for the hungry believer. I love the personal examples from the authors life and the activation prayers at the end of each chapter. Practical and biblical!

Superb book, a must read for anyone interested in hearing the voice of God.

To know much about Jesus

While reading this book I got the impression to sit to the feet of an experienced spiritual father that instructs me out of his riches of experience and biblical reflection.When you listen and hear from God this book is worth it to grow in discerning the source of that, what you received.The book is also very encouraging to develop in practicing and growing in the prophetic.It is worth to read it.How I would like to be taught and mentored personally by James Goll after reading this book.
