If you choose not to have screw holes, you can simply fasten the board to the wall using adhesive strips or strong glue (such as 'No More Nails'). The memo board comes with a protective plastic layer on the front. Simply peel off to reveal the brushed stainless steel finish underneath. The other side may have slight scratches due to the cutting process but these won't be seen when the board is attached to the wall.
