I recently finished invisalign and use my final retainer at night as advised...turns out my dog wanted to try it out and accidentally ate it by mistake. Those suckers are over $500 to replace so I was looking for an alternative. I came across this one and the description and reviews seemed promising. If you're strictly looking for something to put in your mouth when you sleep this might work but I was looking for something that I could mold to my teeth to make sure they stayed in place. The directions seemed easy enough but the guard did not mold to my liking, so I tried again as the directions said to do so but I could not get it to form correctly. Once it sets, it feels like a normal mouth guard, kind of soft but there is no way that it would keep my teeth from moving, which is something that they advertised. Not worth it.

Although these work, they “shred” so I find it an annoying feeling. I prefer the clear ones of this brand. The thickness is fine, easy to mold and comfortable otherwise. But if you are someone that clenches and grinds very heavily like I do-Depends on whether or not I sleep on my side or if I’m stressed out, these will not last long enough.

It definitely saves money if it is between buying this and a retainer or even a plastic retainer replacement online. I purchased it as a retainer but think it would be better overall as a mouth guard for teeth grinding etc.

It works great, and gets the job done. I recently noticed I clench and grind my teeth in my sleep, and this works for what’s its worth rather than spending hundreds of dollars on a professional one.

Could stand to be just a tad thinner but waaay better than the ones I had previously tried.I could tell the difference as soon as I pulled them out of the box

It's a little thick but works to keep you from grinding your teeth.
