Awesome air compressor
The air compressor is phenomenal, probably more substantial of a unit than I actually need. I don't have to worry about running out of air, it is rated for continuous use and so far it has lived up to that claim. If noise is a consideration I'm sure there are quieter compressors, but with this sort of performance and Ingersoll's sturdy build, some noise should be expected. I don't think terribly loud anyway. Buying this compressor on Amazon was considerably cheaper than any of the stores in my area, however, I would recommend buying one locally. Having to be present when it is delivered is inconvenient, and mine showed up with a lot of scrapes and dents that don't effect the functionality but probably could have been prevented. The freight company Amazon uses gets a lot of negative feedback, my experience wasn't terrible. They just kept changing the arrival date, making it difficult to plan ahead.

Great product !
I bought this compressor about 20 years ago for my home shop and it has been GREAT ! Only problem is I live in North Gergia where it is very humid, so I added a after cooler and automatic water drain to help keep water build up in tank and air lines, hoses and air tools down to nothing !!! Great investment !!!

Have help to get this beast off the pallet and moved into position!
I tried to move by myself by "walking" it off the pallet. Ha. Ha.... failure.Got one buddy to help. More laughs.... more failure. Then I came up with this plan:I bought two 7' galvanized steel pipe - like for fencing - I think its 2-3/8-in"x16 gauge, but could be wrong on the thickness. Anyway I slipped the pipes thru the space between the motor mount and the tank. (I had too temporarily disconnect a small air line first -1/2" and 7/16" fittings - to make space for the pipes to slip thru.)Then me plus 3 beer buddies lifted it off the pallet like we were lifting the Queen of Sheba on our shoulders. With a few bunny hops we were able to wrestle it into place inside a small room. This beast is HEAVY. And very TIPPY. It will crush you. Plan to have help with you to move it.....

Beast. Best tool I’ve spent money on in years
We shoulda invested in a monster compressor for our 4 bay shop like this 20 years ago. Instead of messing w horizontal 110v junk that rattled itself to death. This monster took 3 of us to move it into the closet and my buddy wired the 220v to it. We plumed the entire shop with rapid air 1/2” line kits and outlets. And never looked back. 3 years old and it’s never leaked down or given us a minutes problem. Making air tools great again. Adding a IR dryer next for paint booth. Built with pride in our hometown of Campbellsville Ky says so on front of the tank! It’s a perfect for anything below a newcar dealership service dept. not overly loud but don’t run non stop either. Fan throws a ton of air across heads.
