These are very basic white shirts made of thin material, but I think they're perfect for newborns. The material is soft and gentle on newborn skin, they don't get caught on the umbilical cord, and the side snaps mean you don't have to pull the shirt over their heads. We use these under swaddling blankets at night time because they're easy to change, and we don't have to unsnap a onesie for nighttime diaper changes. I have used these shirts with two newborns. My first child was over 9 lbs and the shirts fit just right. My second child was 7 lbs 13 oz and the shirts were a little roomy, but still a pretty good fit for a little undershirt. I just love love love these little shirts.

Love these shirts for my little guy! 3 snaps make it super easy to put on and take off, and gives easy access for those innumerable diaper changes all day. Washes great and shrinks a bit in the dryer, but gets softer with each wear. Perfect lightweight shirt to lounge around at home, and especially during summer. My baby loves them!
