I've been looking for something like this for years, works great for my acrylic brushes and I might get another one to hang my watercolor brushes from.

It is easy to get brushes in and out of the spiral. Except with brushes that had wider handle, they are a bit tougher.I got so that I would have an easier time drying my brushes, so I have yet to put water in this and I mostly likely won't since I don't paint that way. But for the purpose of being a drying rack it works wonderfully.

Some people like to use these brush washers to hold the tips of the brushes in the water while they paint so they don't dry out when switching to another brush. It works fine for larger brushes but my size 2 and smaller brushes aren't long enough to do that with. It still holds the brushes just fine, it just can't hold those shorter ones with the brushes in the water. It isn't a big deal to me but it might be to others. Other than that, this was a great deal. I use it frequently and it has held up great in the month that I have been using it.

The product itself is ok. There are a few things i would change if I could. When you put brushes in it, the stand is to light that it can topple over. The spirals are too small for medium or larger brushes, so i mainly use it for my detail paint brushes.

Perfect way to dry your brushes while painting.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I bought this product 8 months ago and it is not rust resistant at all. I left some water in it for about 10 days and after rusting I now have holes at the bottom of the container. It is now totally useless.

I had one of these way back in my high school years. My wife has recently started painting and I told her about this this style of brush washer. We looked high and low and finally found this one on Amazon. The spiral also comes in handy to hold your brushes in the water or thinner so that they will not dry out while and not letting the bristles bend out of shape in the bottom of the cup.

Wish the top that holds spring rotated so brushes would hang at an angle. Great item.
