Thumler's Tumbler Ultra-Vibe 18 Vibrating Rock Tumbler

I have done my first batch of agates in my new tumbler. They came out great and only took a couple weeks. I like vibratory tumblers better due to the much less time it takes to finish them. I only used two grades of grit as suggested in the instructions and then used polish for the final step. I was a little skeptical about this but it worked. The picture shows the tub with a yellow stripe which is only for shell casings but it did come with the correct blue stripe bowl which is heavier duty. I was happy to see that when I opened the box. The second batch is going now and should be done in a week or so. I'm very happy that I picked this one that does larger batches as I have lots to do.

This has been running non- stop since we got it, about a month. So far doing the job we got it for admirably, which was polishing rocks. I would recommend.

Broke on first use. Very disappointed. Cannot get refund or exchange.

It would take a year just to rough grit a set of stones. Beautiful product but it really barely moves. Very sad.

Have my first batch of rocks going through the polish phase now. The tumbler holds several time the amount of rocks my little barrel tumbler holds, and it gets done faster because you start out with the medium grit rather than the coarse. I would recommend this tumbler to anyone who has large quantities of rocks to tumble.

It's huge, so make sure you have enough to put in it. I also recommend getting some of the ceramic filler media in different sizes to put in the drum as well. Made a huge difference with the tumbled rocks when I added those.

The media could not be loaded. I thought this would be way too big, but it turns out just right as it’s important to have a lot of space between the rocks for polishing to be effective, hence all the ceramic media in the video.
