Big, Sturdy, Roomy, Workhorse
Heavy plastic hooks for over the rod, BIG surface area that practically touches the walls from one end of the tub/shower to the other. This thing really is a beast, as others have posted. But it's exactly what I needed. I dried a pair of stretchy slacks on them the other day, with nothing hanging over the edges. Also, recently did a full load of unmentionables in the washer then spread all kinda panties across the surface, bras and hosiery hooked over the additional line below the mesh ... this was much better than two pair of panties per clothes hanger and the stuff all over my doorjams! The tub/shower was still "in use" until everything dried (I turn things over halfway, then right side out 3/4 of the way through, so they are evenly dried and smooth) but I got so much done in one fell swoop I didn't care. (I also turned my tower fan to blow at an angle onto the bathroom door, to speed it along a little--worked great.)Now that Summer has hit, I can hand wash those cashmere sweaters I wear to work all Winter and probably get two done at a time!As for the opening and closing of this behemoth, be careful the first time to hold it a little away from your face so you don't get a bruised lip (I did, when it hit me). Like a car interior window shade, to close it just hold onto the long edges and bring them toward each other in front of you, gently allowing the dryer to curve around itself as you go. Strap on the big elastic band and put it away. For such a big item, it folds to a nice, small shape for storage. This is a really great buy that I have been needing a long time, since I dry very little of my laundry in the dryer. Honestly helped me get a LOT done in one weekend. Quality materials and workmanship, I expect this baby will be helping Mommy with her chores for a while to come.

Can't get back into storage shape once unfolded
The product works well. It will dry my full length wool dresses without damaging or stretching them. I got this after reading the review saying that it was impossible to fold back into storage so I decided that I would be very careful in unfolding this thing and pay attention to how it is folded. But I was surprised to find that as SOON as you pull the item out of it's packaging it unfolds by itself like a parachute! I got whipped across the face pretty badly as I wasn't expecting this thing to just unfold into 5 times it's size! It could've given me whiplash. So much for unfolding it slowly. So now I'm in the same predicament. I really for the life of me cannot figure out how to fold this thing back into the storage shape it came in and I'm left having to store it in it's full size. Unlike the other reviewer I don't find the folding instructions clear at all.If you get this make sure to take it out of the plastic packaging slowly and hold firmly unto the item as it's sliding out of it's packaging so it doesn't just spring open. Then maybe you can see how it's folded and get it back into that shape for storage!

Great idea that misses the mark!
Great idea for a product. Works wonderfully to dry clothes. Absolutely hopeless to store. It's almost impossible to fold back down. When I do, it's by accident, not design. Overall, not impressed. Smaller hanger dryers are easier to use and store, and with careful placement you can dry larger garments. Give this one a miss.

It works, but it's not exactly what I hoped for
It's really large...it goes from wall to wall in my standard-sized tub/shower, hanging on the curtain rod. Only half of it is over the tub, so the wet clothes drip onto the floor. Not a huge deal since I get as much excess water out before arranging on the dryer. Also, the bathroom sink is right next to the tub, so it's kind of in the way. Luckily it folds up small. It is hard to see what the dryer is like in the photo, so I'll try to describe. The main mesh is similar to the kind on those cheap laundry bags for dorm rooms. I had though the mesh was more fine. The hanging rod around the mesh is pretty much thin wire encased in a loose white vinyl....this part, to me looks kind of chintzy. The straps are unremarkable nylon straps. It's not as attractive as I hoped, but I appreciate all the surface area. One of the biggest issues is that it hangs high. Shorter people would need a stool to arrange the clothes. Also, you have to make sure the clothes are evenly placed otherwise it will tip. This is my first hanging dryer. It works, but it's not exactly what I hoped for.

just what I've been looking for!
I just got this yesterday, so I haven't used it to dry anything yet, but its what I've been looking for all along! Recently, I bought two sweater dresses, without reading the "lay flat to dry" part of the care instructions. Well, after 2 days, nowhere being close to dry. I attempted to dry them by putting them in the dry on low heat - big mistake! They didn't shrink inward, rather in length. So, my knee length sweater dresses are now hitting me mid-thigh. Looks like a Star Trek uniform. I wear them with leggings and Uggs, but, I still saw some cute sweater dresses I wanted. I was trying to think how I could dry sweater dresses without bar marks from my drying rack. I looked online, and saw a drying rack that looked like an inversion table, but it still had bars. Then I checked Amazon. Saw this and figured it would be perfect, however, I didn't measure the length of my bathtub. It was a little longer than I expected, but, since I was looking for a mesh drying rack, and not the extra wire to hang clothing from, I just cut the second wire around the perimeter. Fits perfectly. As far as folding it up, I had no problem. Its just like those sunshades you put in the windshield of your car to keep it cool in the summer sun. You just kind of twist and fold. But even if you have trouble folding it (its super easy) - you could just store it under your bed. This was much cheaper than any solution I could have crafted myself. Looking forward to using it!
