VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SPECIESISM MESSAGE.
Soooo disappointed in the page on fishing. As a vegan feminist, I was so excited to get this book for my first born son. It sucks that this book gives the message that killing animals is an acceptable and fun/recreational thing to do. Not a good message for young folx at all. I thought this book was going to be very progressive. But it's not. Feminism is defined as equality of the sexes. Should we not also advocate for equality of species? This book is speciesist. Speciesism or specism denotes discrimination based on species membership. Such discrimination involves treating members of one species as morally more important than members of other species. AKA FISHING. So disappointing. There may has well been a page on hunting wildlife involving shooting an animal and holding up it's antlers with pride. I will definitely be returning this book, as I do not want to support such a message.

Everyone’s father should be a Feminisf!
My friend’s 4 year old loved this book when they took it out of the library. When I asked what she wanted for the holidays they asked for the book. I looked at it when it arrived and thought the message was great and it was adorable.

Daddy’s with Daughters should all give this a go
Bought this book as a gift for my Boyfriends daughter during the Father day season. He read it to her and I thought how the story explained men and their role for supporting women was spot on for a child’s mind to understand.

Don’t buy this book!
This book is terrible. Any little kid won’t be able to understand it because the wording is just too complex for younger audiences. On top of that it is sexist as hell as it assumed that men can not be stay at home and Frannys father is such a saint for it. It also assumes that Franny is so amazing for doing things that aren’t “typical” for girls. Also $13 is way too much for this piece of trash excuse for an activist book

Demonizing the reader
This author writes to an audience with higher reading level on what they will understand and lower to the adult audience clearly and arogantly that she is the right person and anyone who doesn’t agree with her is wrong and doesn’t love their daughter or son when in reality you should teach your children love and equality for everyone and that they can do what they feel like they want no matter the race gender you Rhonda leet are a horrible women for writing this book I hope you realize how awful you make parents who don’t agree with you and love their children in different parenting that doesn’t meet your far left feminisms ways

Great message, my kid loves the book
Giving this book 5 stars because my kid absolutely loves it, and I love its message. Bits of it though made me feel like I was reading propaganda to my kid :)
